The Eighth Annual William Buechner Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, September 21st at the Auburn University Club. Registration is now open and spots will be limited.

The Auburn Firefighters Association is also looking for local sponsors, if yourself or anyone you know may be interested.

The Auburn Firefighters Association has partnered with Troy Bank & Trust to host the Eighth Annual William Buechner Jr. Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, September 21st at the Auburn University Club. Registration is now open and spots will be limited.

In addition, we are seeking out local businesses to help support the event by sponsoring tee boxes and holes on the course. If you would like to register a team or become a sponsor, please email the Auburn Firefighters Association.

This event is held each year to remember Officer William Buechner Jr. who was killed in the line-of-duty while serving the Auburn community. Proceeds from the event are used to support Officer Buechner's child's Trust Fund while also providing funding for the William Buechner Jr. Memorial Scholarships, which provides supplemental college funding to children of local first responders.

Thanks to our wonderful sponsors and donors we were able to host our first Law Enforcement Appreciation Gala!

With the help of Auburn Bank, TruBalance Wellness, True40, Envy Salon, Bunker’s Auburn, KidStrong Auburn, Niffer’s, Country’s BBQ, Venditori’s, John Emerald Distillery, and our community in general we were able to host an event to never forget.

This event allowed our officers and their families a night of fun, food, fellowship, and giveaways.

The Auburn Police Department works 24/7 all year to keep our city safe. We wanted to offer a night of reprieve and appreciation for their unwavering dedication.

Our goal with APFC is to always be a pillar of comfort, support, and a steady presence families can lean on through every season.
