It has been a busy and rewarding summer for the Sierra Foothills AIDS Foundation team! 🌈

Over the past several weeks, we've had the privilege of connecting with our communities while tabling at Placer Pride, Sacramento Pride, and the Nevada County Pride Family Picnic. Every event has given us the opportunity to share information about our free HIV services, answer questions, build new partnerships, and remind our neighbors that everyone deserves access to compassionate, affirming care.

Today's photo is from the Nevada County Pride Family Picnic, one of our favorite community events of the season. This family friendly celebration brings together LGBTQIA+ individuals, families, friends, and allies for a day centered on joy, belonging, and connection. With live music, games, face painting, family activities, a community barbecue, and opportunities to connect with local organizations, it creates a welcoming space where people of all ages can celebrate Pride together. We were honored to be part of such a positive event and to meet so many wonderful community members.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by our table to say hello, ask questions, pick up resources, or simply share a smile. We are grateful to our community partners and to the organizers who make these events possible. We look forward to seeing you at more community events throughout the year!
