🎣 That’s a Wrap on Our DeKalb County Whitetails Chapter 2026 Youth Walleye Fishing Trips! 🎣 on Lake Erie for the kiddos!

What an incredible season it has been. These young anglers made memories that will last a lifetime, enjoyed some great times on the water, and, most importantly, had the opportunity to learn, experience, and enjoy the outdoors. From the smiles and excitement to the stories they’ll be sharing for years to come, it’s safe to say they’re already looking forward to an opportunity of doing it all again!

We are incredibly thankful to everyone who supports our events and helps make these opportunities possible for our youth. Jon & I want to thank each of you and our committee members for your generosity and continued support allow us to provide experiences these kids may never otherwise have the chance to enjoy.

A special shoutout and THANK YOU to our outstanding Charter Captains:

🎣 Alan Weaver — AA Charter
🎣 Austin Troeter — Cast Away Charter

Both did an exceptional job putting these kids on fish while also teaching them about fishing, boating, and enjoying the great outdoors. We truly appreciate their time, patience, and dedication to making these trips so special for the kids.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the 2026 Lake Erie walleye trips such a success!

But WAIT? we’re not done yet… 🦌

Now it’s time to turn our attention to the Youth Whitetail Hunts coming up soon! We can’t wait to get these young hunters in the woods and create even more memories that will last a lifetime and hopefully a trophy to hang on their walls.

Thank you all again for supporting the DeKalb County Whitetails Chapter and allowing us these opportunities of teaching our future hunters and anglers about conservation and wildlife! 🦌🎣
