Members of the Junior League of Auburn-Opelika gathered at The Collegiate Hotel in downtown Auburn to celebrate a year filled with service, leadership, growth, and impact. From recognizing our amazing award winners to reflecting on all this League accomplished together, the evening was a special reminder of the power of women coming together for meaningful community impact.

President, Heather McDonald, proudly passed the gavel to newly elected President, Katelyn Yarnold, as the League looks ahead to another exciting year of service and leadership.

Last night, our JLAO President Heather McDonald was recognized by the Association of Junior Leagues International for her leadership during the 2025–2026 League year.

As part of this special recognition, Presidents were presented with a gold JL pendant necklace to celebrate their service, dedication, and commitment to advancing women’s leadership and community impact.

It has been an incredible year of growth, service, and sisterhood, and this honor reflects the work of our entire League. Thank you to every member who helped make this year so meaningful. ❤️
