🦆 FREE Shotgun Training Workshop This Saturday at the Atoka WMA!

Whether you’re preparing for the upcoming bird season or have never picked up a shotgun before, this free ODWC workshop is a great opportunity to learn and sharpen your skills.

📅 Saturday, August 8
⏰ 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

✅ No experience required
✅ Guns, ammunition, targets and throwers provided
✅ Instruction from ODWC professionals
✅ Perfect for beginners and experienced shooters wanting extra practice

The workshop is free, but participants must have a valid Oklahoma hunting or combination license unless exempt. Space is limited, and registration closes Friday, August 7 at 5:00 p.m.

Register through the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation events page and come get ready for bird season!

Join us at the range throughout August and September for our free wing shooting workshops. Perfect for those wanting to hone their skills or those just starting their shooting journey!

Justin Hinton, area biologist and habitat specialist and Mark Parham plan to help the temperatures Saturday with a summer burn on Mark's place at McAlister.

Volunteers would be appreciated, learning possibilites will be numerous and the chapter can earn " volunteer hours "

Two weeks out y'all.

The next meeting of the Boggy Depot Chapter of Quail Forever will be held on Thursday, May 14th, at Angel's Diner in McAlister, Oklahoma at 6:30 PM.

This will kick off our chapter's second year. There'll be plenty to discuss going forward into our next year so please, be there if you can.
