A Way Out Ministries A Way Out Ministries exists to disrupt the vicious cycle of sexual exploitation and trafficking

A Way Out Ministries was founded in Memphis, Tennessee in 1992 and was the first ministry in the US who specifically sought to help topless dancers

Today, we take action against sexual exploitation and pornography by advocating for legislative changes, helping rescue and restore those victimized by and trapped in the sex industry, and educating the community on the harmful impact of the sex industry.

Today we were so honored to have a graduate student from Union University who is also an intern at Bellevue Baptist Church local mission's department Bellevue Missions serve with us!

We got outreach bags ready, worked on things for next week's Sporting Clays Tournament, and took her to one club during the day (which we normally go on Friday nights).

What an amazing daytime testimony!

We met two women who were carrying so much. Without sharing their story (which is theirs to tell), we were so honored to pray and literally hold one of them for a long time as she wept in our arms quivering. We got to speak truth over her and on our way home something miraculous happened!

She took the business card attached to the beautiful yellow roses pictured and text our helpline while we were inte car on the way back to the office praying for her!

This is HUGE! It sometimes takes months or years for women to trust and open up. We all erupted in praise when the text came through!

Please pray that she will take the next courageous step and meet us for lunch to help with some of the things she shared.

We are so grateful for churches and volunteers from all generations who help us be the hands and feet of Jesus. These yellow roses that had a business card with our helpline number on it today turned into a lifeline someone relied upon.

Praise God!!!

We praise God for each of you who helped with a survivor and her toddler son - from donating clothes, suitcases, toys, diapers, suitcases, money for hotel stays! Because of you, they are SAFE in a long term placement as of today!!! Praise the living God!

Pray for this precious mom and her baby - the healing journey starts now and that takes so much courage and fortitude. Also, we have another survivor who we've worked with over 10 years who has really struggled. She is in a very dangerous situation and we are asking you to join us in praying for her safety and freedom. We have a place lined up to take her to safety. Please pray for courage and LIFE for this beautiful daughter of the Most High. She needs a miracle and we believe He will do it!

Please pray for a single mom we've been working all weekend with to find emergency housing for and then long term placement. We need a miracle and we trust God can do it! There are absolutely NO beds in Memphis larger region for her and her toddler and it is just heart wrenching and devastating.

The first place we were going to take her on Monday is not going to work. We have a call tomorrow early morning with another long term program out of state and have messages in to several others.

She is ready and we know God can open doors!

Our hearts are especially wrenched because we have over 75 acres where we can build housing for trafficked women with children, we just need the funding. We know God's timing is perfect.

Our team has been in tears several times this weekend because one of God's daughter and son needs A Way Out and we've been met with barrier after barrier. Please join us in invading heaven for this mom and so many others who feel trapped.

Lord Jesus we trust and need you!

We need your help!

We got a call today from One More Child who was trying to help a woman who is actively in the s*x industry who has a precious 3 year old boy. The family needs to be relocated out of Memphis to safety. We found a place that will take her Monday and we'll be taking them to out of state. In the meantime, we need 3T and 3XL gently used clothes and pull up diapers. We will also be getting her toiletries.

If you have any of these items, please DM us and we can coordinate pick up. You can also sow financially to help us get these items and costs associated with us transporting them personally out of state on Monday.

Because of their support 8 students every year have participated in our event. We are honored to host these incredible students every year.

🍎 SURVIVOR LED. TESTIMONIES OF FRUIT. 🍎

“You will know them by their fruits.”
Matthew 7:16–20

There is something incredibly powerful about having a survivor on staff who was rescued through our Call Center seven years ago—and today, she is leading our outreach and case management efforts.

She knows what it means to be in the darkness.
She knows what it means to reach for help.
And now, God is using her to help others find their way toward freedom.

And we are seeing tremendous fruit through her. 🌱

Here are just a few testimonies:

❤️ One dancer we've been ministering to every week now calls us multiple times, sometimes having conversations lasting more than an hour. She isn't only calling when she's in crisis and needs someone to help her regulate her thoughts. She's beginning to reach out simply because she needs support—and, even more beautifully, she is learning to dream again.

❤️ During a recent club outreach, we met a woman who had aged out of foster care and was living in a trailer without running water or electricity. We've taken her out to eat, stayed connected with her throughout the week, and are helping her navigate getting into a long-term program where she can begin healing from the trauma she's experienced.

❤️ Multiple women—and even a man—have found A Way Out through our website. We are walking alongside them and helping them find safety and the resources they need.

❤️ Another woman we've worked with for years, who has danced in both Nashville and Memphis, recently secured her dream job. We couldn't be more proud of her!

For confidentiality, we can't share all the details. But we can tell you this: God is producing fruit.🍊🍎🍇

And that fruit doesn't happen in isolation.

It happens because people pray.
It happens because people volunteer.
It happens because people give.
It happens because people choose to sow into what God is doing.

Every call answered.
Every text sent - now up to 219 survivors reached weekly.
Every outreach bag delivered.
Every meal shared.
Every connection made.
Every woman reminded that she is seen, known, loved, and not alone.

You may never know the full story this side of heaven—but your faithfulness is helping produce fruit.
