Mermaids for Morgan
Morgan was a daughter, a sister, an aunt & a friend. She was 23 years old and a few months away from finishing dental hygienist school and beginning her career that she was so excited to start. She was hard working, incredibly kind and had an infectious laugh that had the ability to make anyone laugh.
On October 23,2015 our lives took a turn and upside down, Morgan was in a car accident. She was an impaired driver and was the only one who died from the crash. She was a responsible young woman who sadly made an irresponsible decision.
Mermaids for Morgan was born to do something positive during an incredibly sad time. Our goal is to raise awareness for impaired and distracted driving. We hope with educating our community and those close to us the impacts distracted driving has that it can make a difference in our choices and to teach people how they can contribute also to making a difference.
