What started in 2016 as a quiet mission to care for the forgotten has grown into something so much more. Today, Cat Paws Sanctuary is a permanent home for cats with the most complex needs. We specialize in lifelong care for cats with FeLV, diabetes, seniors, and other chronic medical conditions. We believe every single one of these souls is worthy of love, safety, and a life lived with dignity. That is the promise we make to them the moment they arrive. This is bigger than we are, you are also part of their journey from the time they enter our doors.
Every kitty at our sanctuary carries a story that nearly ended too soon. They’ve arrived here after surviving things no animal should have to, years on the lonely streets, the darkness of hoarding, abuse, or a scary shelter cage where they were scheduled to be euthanized simply because of a diagnosis. They’ve traveled such long, hard roads to get to us, carrying the weight of labels like FeLV, FIV, or "diabetic." They are finally safe now, and they are so loved. But there is still one thing that would make their world complete, a sponsor mom or dad to call their own.
When you become a sponsor, you’re doing something incredibly personal. You aren’t just helping with expenses, you’re choosing a specific soul and saying, "I see you." Your monthly allowance to them becomes the lifeline that provides their specialized medical care, their favorite meals, and the toys that finally teach them how to play again. More than the food or the medicine, you are giving them the dignity of being chosen. You are the proof that their hard journey was worth it.
