Beaches Go Green and our student clubs host several community cleanups every year. We are requesting REUSABLE items whenever possible so we do not create more waste at our events.

Please consider donating to Beaches Go Green. Our awareness & environmental education in the beaches community is 5 years strong. We have outgrown our all-volunteer status and need to hire a paid staff to continue our growth & impact.

Beaches Go Green currently boasts (15) student clubs in Duval & St Johnโ€™s counties. These student clubs are multiplying our reach by working with local elementary schools. BGG student clubs are impacting thousands of students every year.

Our reusable bottles for sports program has installed over 26,000 SIC Cups stainless steel Reusable water bottles for youth athletes in our community. Together, with our community partners, we have reduced plastic pollution on the field, on campus, in the environment and in our bodies.

The Reusable Bottles for Sports programโ€™s purpose is two-fold. 1) to reduce plastic pollution in our environment. 2) to decrease the exposure of our developing youth athletes to the chemicals that leach into our food and drink from plastic. Many of these chemicals are endocrine disruptors that mimic hormones in our body and can cause all sorts of medical issues.

In addition to our student club & programs, BGG hosts eco cinemas, hold community cleanups & supports many community events.

About us Beaches Go Green, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, aims to create awareness and spread education about the waste that we produce and how it impacts our planet. Highly recommend this podcast! Beaches Go Green founder Anne Marie Moquin was interviewed by a fletcher hs student, Grant Tucker, who started the high school club CO2consequences. Pretty impressive young man and solid interview!

Listen to this episode from CO2NSEQUENCES on Spotify. Host, Grant Tucker, meets with Founder of Jacksonville's very own Beaches Go Green non-profit organization to discuss her past and current efforts, her experiences working with the community, and the importance of eliminating single use plastics.
