Hey Survivors!! I’m reaching out personally because I could genuinely use some help. ❤️

As many of you know, I run Survive & Conquer Foundation, and we’ve been blessed to do some amazing work throughout our community. But as we continue to grow, I’m realizing more and more that I can’t do everything by myself — and I don’t want to.

I’m looking for a few genuine people who have a heart for the community and are willing to donate some of their time to help us keep this work moving.

Right now, we especially need volunteers who can help us make calls to local businesses and organizations, reach out about donations and community partnerships, follow up with potential supporters, and actually get out into the community with us when we’re doing outreach.

You don’t have to have nonprofit experience. You don’t have to know all the right people. I’m really just looking for dependable people who care, communicate well, and are willing to help.

Survive & Conquer has been able to feed people, provide hygiene essentials, support families, give school supplies to children, and show up for people during some really difficult moments. I want us to keep growing that impact, but we need more hands and more hearts behind the mission.

So I’m genuinely asking my Nextdoor community for help. 🙏🏾

If you have a few hours to volunteer, have connections or resources that could help, or even know a business that may be willing to donate or partner with us, please message me.

And if you can’t volunteer right now, even sharing this with someone who might be a good fit would mean a lot.

On October 10, Survive & Conquer Foundation is coming together to provide 250 men with clothing, shoes, resources, and much-needed support. ❤️

We are ACCEPTING DONATIONS NOW THROUGH OCTOBER 10! 👕👟💵 Men’s clothing and shoes can be new or gently used, and monetary donations will help us provide additional hygiene items, food, and essential resources.

Today was a full-circle moment. 🏆❤️

When I moved to Atlanta from New York, I didn’t come here looking for recognition. I simply wanted to build, serve, heal, and become part of a community that I could pour into. I wanted Survive & Conquer Foundation to be more than a name—I wanted our presence to be felt through the lives we touched and the people we showed up for.

Today, I had the honor of being recognized as a community leader, alongside so many other incredible leaders, for the work Survive & Conquer has done in our community. To say my heart is full would be an understatement.

Every family we’ve served, every child we’ve supported, every hygiene bag packed, every meal given, every event, every partnership, every volunteer, and every person who believed in this mission helped make this moment possible. This recognition belongs to all of us.

Thank you to Gresham Park Christian Church and everyone in the community who saw the work, believed I was deserving of this recognition, and continues to support the mission of Survive & Conquer.

And a special congratulations to my brother and peer KP, who was recognized today as well. There’s something powerful about watching the people around you serve, grow, and receive their flowers too. Proud of you, brother. 🤝🏾

I’m grateful for the award, but I’m even more grateful for the opportunity to serve.

We’re not finished. We’re just getting started.

Today, I’m exhausted… but my heart is FULL. ❤️

I honestly don’t even know where to begin.

After weeks of planning, making calls, asking for donations, coordinating volunteers, moving supplies, solving problems, and trying to make sure every detail came together — today finally happened.

And seeing the community show up made every late night, every stressful moment, and every “how are we going to pull this off?” moment worth it.

Today wasn’t perfect. There were challenges. There were moments I was overwhelmed. But there was also SO much love in that room.

Children smiling with their book bags.
Families receiving supplies they needed.
Volunteers giving their time.
Partners believing in the mission.
People who had never met us before showing up simply because they wanted to help.

That’s what I’ll remember.

As the founder of Survive & Conquer Foundation, moments like today remind me WHY I started this.

I know what it feels like to go through difficult seasons and wonder if anybody sees you, believes in you, or cares.

So if we can be that reminder for someone else — even for one child — then it’s worth it.

To every person who donated, volunteered, partnered, sponsored, shared a post, brought supplies, served food, helped a family, encouraged me, or simply showed up today…

THANK YOU. 🙏🏾❤️

I may be tired tonight, but I’m grateful beyond words.

This is bigger than me.

This is bigger than an event.

This is community. This is purpose. This is the mission.

And we’re just getting started.

Today, Jill Lindsey stood at the podium at The King Center with a powerful invitation: come together, show up, and make a difference.

Tomorrow, we continue the mission of Survive and Conquer Foundation Inc. with our Back to School Bash — a day dedicated to reminding our children and families that they are seen, supported, and valued. 🎒✨

Every backpack given, every supply shared, and every connection made is a reminder that when a community comes together, we can create opportunities, inspire confidence, and help our youth walk into the school year prepared to succeed.

Today I had the opportunity to stop by Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell and pick up an AMAZING amount of book bags and school supplies for our upcoming Back-to-School Bash! 🎒📚✏️

I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to Word of Faith for continuing to be a true pillar in our community and for standing alongside Survive and Conquer Foundation to make a difference in the lives of local families.

Partnerships like this are what community is all about. When organizations, churches, businesses, and individuals come together, we can create real impact and make sure our children have the resources they need to start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and supported. ❤️

Today was a reminder that real impact begins with collaboration.

I had the privilege of meeting with the administrators at Barack H. Obama Elementary Magnet School of Technology alongside our incredible partners, Hope Enterprise and Gresham Park Christian Church, to begin planning for this holiday season.

Together, we’re working to ensure that 800 students receive Christmas gifts this year while also connecting families with resources that extend far beyond the holidays. Our goal isn’t just to create a memorable Christmas—it’s to build lasting relationships and provide support that strengthens our community year-round.

When nonprofits, schools, faith organizations, and community partners come together, lives are changed.

Thank you to everyone committed to making this vision a reality. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to serve these amazing students and their families.
