Itā€™s officially a month since I donated my kidney to my babyā€¦.

I still canā€™t ā€œeat what you wantā€ like the told me Iā€™d be able to šŸ™„
I still get nauseous very easily..
I get extremely fatigued by simple things like taking a shower or walking to my mailbox.
My incisions are still a bit tender.
I drink so much water ima turn into water.
Iā€™ve lost 10lbs
If I stand too fast I get dizzy.
My digestive system is doing whatever it wants.
My labs somehow went missing so I have to go back and redo them šŸ˜©

Chloeā€™s doing great though lol. Gaining weight. Eating by mouth. In great spirits .. She looks GOODT šŸ„°

They didnā€™t lie when they said donorā€™s recovery is way worse than the recipientā€™sā€¦ They could have given way more details though I know that much.

My man : ā€œBut you deserve itā€

I literally thank God for my husband every single day . The way this man loves me has helped to foster a deeper love I have for myself. His kindness, his patience , his work ethic, the way he stands on business, the way he fathers, the way he leadsā€¦ the way he lovesā€¦are all some of the reasons why Iā€™m so blessed to get to do life with him.

We got married before we had a wedding , but my husband went above and beyond to give me the wedding of my dreams and that day will forever be cherished!! I thank God for blessing us and giving us wisdom in how to navigate our lives together.. I pray God continues to cover and guide us as we continue to grow and evolve šŸ–¤

Last week I had what I felt like was a million different tests done to try and finish up my process in becoming Chloeā€™s kidney donor ā€¦ all of my results started coming in and were amazing and except my CT scanā€¦ the doctor called and said small blood clots were found on my lungs and they needed me to come in immediately for more testing for my health before they could even consider moving forward for Chloe. All I could hear was my Grandma Stenson voice telling me to pray and this was just a test to my faith. Would I stand firm in what God already said or would I panic and doubt God.. I called my auntie Tonya, and we prayed .. Monday I went in, and again on yesterday. Today I received a call saying IM OFFICIALLY CLEARED TO GIVE MY BABY MY KIDNEY!!!!! I ugly cried so bad yal !!!

My oldest and my youngest started school today.. I pray God continues to cover them. Iā€™m so excited for McKenzy as she enters her last year in middle school. Sheā€™s taking 3 high school classes this year yal .. LETS GO BABY!!!
Iā€™m equally excited for Evan because his personality is definitely starting to shine bright. He is so smart and an absolute sweetheart..
8th grade and 2nd grade will absolutely be amazing experiences full of love, growth and abundance!!
