As we continue reflecting on Mother’s Day and our May theme, BEE the Leader, we wanted to take a moment to honor the women who help shape, guide, support, and pour into the next generation every single day 💐🤍

Leadership often begins long before a title. It lives in the sacrifices, encouragement, protection, patience, prayers, lessons, and love shared between mothers, daughters, caregivers, mentors, and the women who become part of our village along the way.

These photos are such a beautiful reminder that behind so many strong girls are women helping them believe in themselves, grow through life’s challenges, and become everything they are meant to BEE. 🐝✨

This month, as we reflect on legacy, mental health, resilience, and purposeful impact, we celebrate the women whose love continues to lead long after the moment has passed.

Moms truly make the world go round, and we hope each of you continues to feel deeply loved, appreciated, celebrated, and poured into not just on Mother’s Day, but in all the moments in between💙💛✨

Because how you lead shapes the legacy you leave. 👑🐝

As we close out the school year, May invites us to slow down and reflect.

This month, we’re stepping into BEE the Leader
A focus on legacy, mental health, and purposeful impact.

Leadership is not just about what you do.
It’s about what you carry.
It’s about how you show up, how you care for yourself, and how you continue forward even when it’s hard.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminding our girls that leadership is not about pouring from an empty cup.
The strongest leaders know when to pause, reflect, and refill.

Here’s what’s coming up:

👑 Peer Leadership Lab
May 6 | 3:45–5:00 PM | Room 403

🎉 End-of-Year Celebration
May 13 | 6:00–8:00 PM | Media Center

This month’s life skills:
Self-Motivation. Collaboration. Resilience.

Because the way you lead, show up, and care for yourself and others shapes the life you are creating.

You’ve carried a lot this year.
You’ve grown because of it.

Now it’s time to reflect, reset, and step into what’s next.

BEE the Leader.

Your voice can change eveything.🍃🌬️🌎🐝

April is a call to be bold.
Not just in what you say, but in who you are, what you stand for, and how you show up in the world.

This month, we’re stepping into BEE Bold
A focus on expression, advocacy, and courage.

Because bold leadership is not always easy.
It means speaking when it would be easier to stay quiet.
It means standing for something, even when it feels uncomfortable.

As the earth begins to bloom again, we are reminded that growth takes courage. After seasons of change, something new always has the opportunity to emerge.

April also calls us to care deeply.
For ourselves.
For each other.
And for the world we live in.

Through moments like Earth Day and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, we are reminded that using your voice can protect, uplift, and create change.

Here’s what we’re stepping into this month:

✨ Peer Leadership Lab on April 15
✨ “Princess to Power” leadership identity activity
✨ Creative expression through music, AI, and storytelling
✨ Spring welcome + member celebration

This month’s life skills:
Courage. Self-Expression. Advocacy.

Because how you speak, express, and stand for what matters shapes the mark you leave on the world. BEE Bold, and make it count.

BEE the Dream in Action. 🏙️💭🐝

Last week, our girls didn’t just learn about leadership — they stepped into it. They became realtors, helping clients find homes that matched their needs, vision, and budget. They became developers and attorneys, designing a community shopping plaza and making sure it aligned with real laws and land use guidelines.

They made decisions.
They solved real problems.
They built something of their own.
And most importantly — they saw themselves in it.

In industries like real estate and law, where women — especially Black women — are still underrepresented, our girls showed up with confidence, curiosity, and vision. And they did it alongside two women who didn’t wait for a seat at the table — they built one.

Shoutout to Kayla A. Watkins, Commercial Real Estate Attorney, and Courtney Stewart, Real Estate Entrepreneur, for pouring into our girls and showing them what’s possible. 🙌🏾

Full circle: all three women professionals leading the room are graduates of The University of Georgia. 🐾 Different paths. Same foundation. All proof that where you start doesn’t limit where you go.

This wasn’t just an activity.
It was exposure. It was confidence. It was power.
And once you see yourself in the room…
you move differently.

💛 Tag a girl who needs to be in a room like this.
🔁 Share this with someone building the next generation.

From who we dreamed of becoming to who we are now and what we’re building next💛🐝✨

This month in our Leadership Lab, our girls took a moment to reflect on their childhood dreams, how they’ve grown, and who they are becoming today.

But we didn’t stop there.

We stretched our thinking beyond ourselves — imagining a collective dream world rooted in leadership, opportunity, and impact. Using AI, the girls brought their visions to life, exploring what the future could look like when they lead it. 🌍💫

And we’re just getting started.

✨ Our BEE the Dream Community Workshop is next Wednesday, March 25th from 3:45 PM to 5:00 PM. This will be an interactive experience where girls will gain real exposure to the world of residential and commercial ownership.

🍿 Our Double Good Fundraiser also launched today!
Support our board members, peer leaders, and girls by shopping their stores and helping us reach our goals.

Every purchase helps us continue building spaces where girls can dream, lead, and create the future they deserve 💛🐝

🐝 Chapter 12: Act II — Going BEEYOND, Together!

This Women’s History Month, BEE Club is continuing our 12th Anniversary Campaign by investing in the next generation of leaders.

Through our BEEYOND Leaders Program, 42 girls are building confidence, finding mentorship, and developing the leadership skills they need to shape their futures and strengthen their communities.

Moments like these are possible because of the support of people who believe in girls and their potential.

🍿 From March 20–24, we’re hosting our Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser to support leadership opportunities, mentorship, and experiential learning for the girls in our program.

Your support helps fund:

✨ Scholarships and career workshops
✨ Paid leadership opportunities and internships
✨ Guest speakers and leadership events
✨ STEAM programs and leadership projects
✨ Technology and digital learning tools
✨ Experiential learning opportunities

As one of our Peer Leaders, Alexis, shared:

“BEE Club gave me a space to express myself, grow as a leader, and receive mentorship from older students and professionals.”

Because when girls lead, communities rise.

Every major change in history began with a dream.
A bold idea. A spark of hope. A vision for something better than what exists today.

For generations, women and girls have imagined new possibilities and worked together to bring them to life. They built movements, created industries, and fought for the rights and opportunities many of us benefit from today.

Now it’s our turn.

This month in BEE Club, we are stepping into the power of vision, courage, and collaboration. Because dreams are not just wishes, they are the starting point of leadership.

Last month, our community experienced a powerful reminder of that truth.

After advocating for the future of girls in leadership, BEE Club was awarded a $25,000 investment through the SPARK Inspire Foundation to expand opportunities for young women through our BEEYOND Leaders Program.

For a program founded by a teen girl and led by teen girls for most of its existence, that moment meant something deeply special. It reminded us that the ideas, leadership, and hard work of young women matter and that the world is ready for the next generation to step forward.

Because when girls have access to the right tools, networks, and opportunities, there is no limit to what they can create.

✨ What’s coming up this month:

🎈 Vision balloons and dream reflections
🎨 Team vision boards and creative storytelling
🎤 Public speaking and advocacy conversations
⚖️ Conversations with women leaders in law and real estate
🤝 Community service and giving back through volunteer work

This month we will practice three powerful leadership skills:

✨ Aspire – Dream boldly and believe in what is possible
✨ Dare – Speak up, take risks, and share your ideas
✨ Collaborate – Build with others to create real change

Because the future isn’t something we wait for.

It’s something we imagine, build, and lead—together.

🐝 The world is waiting for your dream.

In a world that constantly tells girls who they should be, this month is about returning to who you already are.

BEE Love is rooted in self-worth, inner beauty, and tenderness. Together, we will challenge the idea that value is measured by appearances, perfection, or approval. Real confidence, real power, real beauty — those begin within.

This month inside BEE Club, we are creating space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves and one another.

✨ What’s coming up:

🎤 Karaoke and joy-filled sisterhood moments
🥤 Custom cups and creative expression
🎥 A girl-led video cast / podcast project
💻 Conversations about love and new connections with women in tech

🗓 February Gatherings:
💗 Wednesday, February 11th — Peer Leadership Lab
💗 Wednesday, February 25th — Community Workshop

This is more than a theme. It is a reminder.

You do not have to earn your worth.
You do not have to be perfect to be powerful.
You are already becoming everything you are meant to be.

Show up. Be present. Be open. Be yourself & know that love is already yours. 💗🐝

BEE Club is BACK. & Day 1 of Intake Week was EVERYTHING🐝💛

We welcomed new faces, hugged returning members we missed so much, and kicked off our February theme, BEE Love, the best way we know how, by giving our girls their flowers 🌸

Together, we built bouquets that represented power, individuality, growth, and leadership. We made affirmation cakes, speaking life over ourselves and pouring into our sense of self 🧁💐

We ended the day with a bouquet toss, sending sweet blessings, confidence, and love into this new semester 💛

So excited to be back in person at Westlake High School and we can’t wait to see everyone at the last two Intake Week events!! For more details, see our last post or dm us!!
