Each year, 3Keys measures our progress against two key agency goals:

More than 90% housing stability:
We aim for more than 90% of residents to remain stably housed for one year or longer with the support of housing and onsite services. Last year, this was 93%.

80%+ engagement in supportive services:
We aim for approximately 80% of residents – about 320 of our 400 residents – to engage with onsite supportive services. Last year, this was 83%.

Importantly, participation is never mandatory. At 3Keys, we believe resident autonomy is an essential part of health, stability and independence.

We are confident that those who remain stably housed and who do engage in supportive services will receive enormous benefits including the strength and self-sufficiency needed to maintain their permanent housing, manage their disabilities and chronic health conditions, and live independently without returning to homelessness or other precarious living situations.

Meet our President & CEO, Scott Walker, whose 30+ years in social work and homelessness services have been guided by one simple belief: everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Having experienced the importance of a strong support system firsthand, Scott has dedicated his career to helping individuals overcome barriers and build brighter futures. Whether he's visiting residents across our communities, mentoring staff, or securing resources to expand supportive housing, Scott leads with compassion, purpose, and a commitment to serving others.

"I don't ask staff to do anything that I'm not willing to do myself," Scott says. "That's important when you're a leader."

We’re thrilled to welcome Melissa Burton back to the 3Keys team as our Chief Financial Officer!

Melissa previously worked with 3Keys and brings more than 25 years of accounting and finance experience, including 18+ years in the nonprofit sector. Her expertise spans audit preparation, grant reporting and compliance, reconciliations, and helping organizations make the most of every dollar.

With her deep commitment to the nonprofit sector and passion for doing “more with less,” we’re excited to have her back. She is a tremendous addition to our leadership team!

Every day, our residents prove the power of the permanent supportive housing model, where we not only provide a place to live, but the wraparound services to help everyone be successful and to thrive. Four years ago, Ms. Cathy moved into Presley Woods in the Kirkwood neighborhood. At 71, Ms. Cathy has an admirably positive outlook, despite having suffered many hardships, including the loss of an adult son. She is proud of the fact that she has her own place and has managed it well in the face of various chronic health conditions and challenges.

This past Saturday, 3Keys participated in a block party put on by New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and SafeHouse Outreach. The event was dedicated to serving and caring for those experiencing homelessness.

Diane, Natasha, Alena, and Ashley attended from our staff and provided resources and instructions to individuals on 3Keys’ services and how to be referred. They offered info on other housing resources where people can be assessed for housing assistance, too. Diane also spoke to the crowd about 3Keys’ permanent supportive housing apartments.

The four-hour block party took place in downtown Atlanta and included mobile showers, haircuts, laundry facilities, medical screenings, a place to get vouchers for IDs, and more.

Overall, the event was very thoughtful and we appreciated being a part of it!

Located in Atlanta’s Kirkwood neighborhood, Presley Woods provides 40 permanent supportive housing apartments for adults with mental health disabilities who have lower or no incomes.

Residents have access to a peaceful courtyard and shared spaces, along with the wraparound services provided by 3Keys’ dedicated staff and partners.

From case management and peer support to life skills training, food assistance, transportation and connections to healthcare, 3Keys meets residents where they are and helps remove the barriers that can stand between someone and long-term housing stability.

In 2025, 93% of 3Keys residents remained stably housed after two years—an important reflection of what can happen when affordable housing and individualized support come together.

When a new resident moves into a 3Keys permanent supportive housing community, they're welcomed by a team that's committed to helping them succeed. Together, they create a personalized plan based on each resident's goals, strengths, and unique needs.

From case management and peer support to employment assistance, financial literacy, health services, and daily living skills, our on-site supportive services help residents build stability, independence, and confidence. Regular check-ins ensure residents continue making progress - and if challenges arise, we're there to help them get back on track.
