JoJo from Timothy Cox, our own Megan, Kelly & Erinn from The Friendhood, Atiyya NaDirah aka Miss 404, Sarra Sedghi of Rough Draft Atlanta, Chuck Bryant (co-host of Stuff You Should Know), and Cece, our returning official kid judge bringing the flavor perspective.

2026 Wing Fling Judge

Dr. Gaylan Williams, Deputy Commissioner of Atlanta Park Planning and Design, an Atlanta-based landscape architect, licensed arborist, and LEED Accredited Professional, brings deep expertise in urban forestry, sustainability, and climate resilience to his work across the city and region. Having led and supported climate adaptation and green infrastructure initiatives in Atlanta and throughout the South, Williams combines practical planning experience with academic research focused on the ecological benefits of urban trees and creative greenspace.

2026 Wing Fling Judge

Megan Owens, a five-time returning Wing Fling judge, has tasted every wing from the Wing Fling since the Fling first flung wings. She has sampled a wide variety of wings, from fried to battered to lemon pepper, leaving no flavor untried and a preference for flats. Beyond her culinary adventures, Megan is a dedicated community leader in Kirkwood, passionately working to enhance the quality of life in her community.

When she’s not judging wings or volunteering, Megan can be found at home in Kirkwood. She enjoys F1, Star Trek, math, gardening, lifting, and cosplay. She lives with her spouse, Marcus, and three furbabies.

Be sure to swing by the orange tents, get some wings, take some photos and say “hi” to the crew presented by JoJo of the Timothy Cox and Co. Realtors.

“Hi!! I’m Cece, I’m 10 years old. I really like wings and enjoy exploring different flavors!”

Cece loves cooking with her family, reading, making pottery, and grabbing sushi when she can, but for Wing Fling, she’s all about finding the best flavor on the plate. Get ready… her taste buds are ready for the challenge!
