📣 Calling High School STEM Educators!
The NSF Engineering Research Center for Cell Manufacturing Technologies (CMaT) is hosting a half-day virtual professional development workshop for high school STEM teachers on July 20, 2026, from 1:00–5:00 PM ET.
This interactive workshop will introduce educators to the rapidly growing field of cell and gene therapy manufacturing and explore how biomanufacturing is shaping the future of healthcare and workforce development.
Participants will:
🔬 Learn how cell manufacturing is helping improve patient outcomes
🧪 Explore ways cell manufacturing research has been integrated into high school curriculum
🎓 Discover summer research opportunities for teachers and pre-college students
💼 Gain insight into biomanufacturing career pathways for high school graduates
🤝 Network with educators across CMaT campuses nationwide
💰 Each participating teacher will receive a $250 stipend.
