Taking New Ground

Catalyzing movements of reproducing churches in hard to reach parts of the world. Taking New Ground works in partnership with New Churches Now and New Thing.

This group of like minded organizations works together as the “New Thing Global Catalyst Team”. Taking New Ground works to catalyze movements of reproducing churches in hard to reach parts of the world by:

1) Identifying, coming alongside, and training apostolic leaders in hard to reach parts of the world.

2) Starting new churches with indigenous leaders who disciple and train other local leaders.

3) Linking pastors together in regional networks for encouragement, accountability and cooperation. To read about Matt Watson's story in starting Taking New Ground visit https://www.takingnewground.org/mystory/

WE NEED YOUR HELP! As we head into the year end giving season I want to make you aware of a special opportunity we have to double the impact of your year end gift to Taking New Ground! A generous financial partner has offered to match up to $10,000 in incremental year end gifts! That means your year end gift to Taking New Ground, between now and December 31st, can have twice the impact! https://www.takingnewground.org/give/

Slovenia is 0.1% to 0.2% Evangelical Christian. There are about 40 churches and around 2,000 Christians in this nation of 2 million souls. We worked with 9 churches and several DMM (Disciple Making Movement) groups here. Together, they are preparing to double in the next two years!
