Thank you to Coweta FORCE for presenting Narcan training at our monthly meeting yesterday. The session gave us important information about overdose awareness, how to recognize warning signs, and how naloxone can be used to temporarily reverse an overdose in an emergency. Naloxone can help restore normal breathing within minutes, and timely action can save a life.

Overdoses can happen to anyone. For example, older adults may accidentally take more medication than prescribed if they forget they have already taken a dose. Getting trained and keeping Narcan at home or in your car could help save a life.

We appreciate Coweta Force in helping our organization strengthen its knowledge, preparedness, and commitment to community safety.

As one of 159 Georgia Family Connection Partnership communities 🌟, we are to serve as our local resource hub 📍- working behind the scenes 🔍 to confirm the accuracy of local resource information ✅.

We’re honored to partner with Bridging the Gap to support NewnanStrong.org (updated by Crown Digital US ) 💙🌐 and ensure our community has access to reliable, up-to-date resources when they need them most 🤲.
