Screen on the Green is cancelled for tonight due to the high probability of rain. We are tentatively rescheduling if for Friday, May 29 but it might still be raining them. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.

Is it that time again? The beloved tradition returns to downtown Washington, GA, as Skate the Square rolls in for four dates this June and July. Grab your skates, bikes, skateboards, big wheels, or anything without a motor, and get ready for a great time. All kids must be accompanied by an adult, so mark your calendars and join us for an evening full of fun!

Join us on May 22 for the first of three movies to be shown at the historic Washington Square! Save the dates and get ready for a fun evening. Bring along your chair, blanket, snacks, and drinks, and make yourself comfortable. You can start setting up your spot at 6:00 p.m., with the movie kicking off at 8:30 p.m. Please like and share!

We will have a meeting on Tuesday, May 5 at 6:00 at the Parish House behind the Episcopal Church. There is plenty of parking back there so that will not be a problem. I'm sorry to keep moving the location on you but the Fireworks Committee has the Chamber the first Tuesday of each month until after July 3.

This meeting will primarily be a debrief of the 5K. I have noted several things that I would like to do differently next year. Give it a little thought and give us your input on how we can improve.

The other agenda item will be Screen on the Green. I will give you a complete update on that as well.
