Acworth Horizon League: Indoor Kickball Registration Now Open!

Looking for a fun and inclusive way to stay active this summer? Join the Acworth Horizon League for Indoor Kickball!

This adapted sports program is designed for individuals ages 5 and up with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Athletes will enjoy a supportive, non-competitive environment focused on fun, teamwork, and building confidence.

Come be part of a league where everyone plays, everyone belongs, and everyone has fun!

We’re looking for buddies for this Saturday’s games (May 2)! ⚾️
Game times are 11:30 am and 12:45 pm.

Volunteers must be 13 years or older.

Buddies are a vital part of the Horizon League experience. Each athlete is paired with a buddy during every game to help ensure safety (like watching for balls) and to assist with batting and running the bases. It’s a fun and meaningful way to make a difference!

Thanks to all attendees, sponsors, and donors, the 2026 Horizon Ability Gala was more than just an event, it was a celebration of inclusion and community! Because of the incredible support, the Special Needs Development Group was able to shine a spotlight on the incredible athletes, families, and volunteers who make the Horizon League so special, helping more people recognize the importance of adaptive recreation and opportunities for all!

After expenses, the Horizon Ability Gala raised $70,000 total, but it's true impact extends far beyond the numbers. We thank everyone who continues to support our amazing Horizon League programs, and we look forward to celebrating with you at the 2027 Horizon Ability Gala!
