"I’m Dr. Candice Adams-Mitchell, a sickle cell mom and researcher, and I need your help! One of my students, Kayla Wiechens, is studying caregivers' experiences with mental health and coping during the transition from pediatric to adult SCD care.
If you care for a child (14-24) with SCD who hasn’t transitioned to adult care, please take 5-10 minutes to complete our survey! Your input can help improve mental health support during this critical time. Her honor's thesis deadline is quickly approaching.
