Hello AV200 Community- Randy Marcotte here! A couple of general updates for the legacy of AV200.

1- AV200 Riderless Bike - there are a number of locations in Decatur being discussed- adjacent to the Emory Vaccine Center will be nearly impossible -so if you want to participate, let me (Randy) know. The goal is to have it placed by May, 2026.

2- AIDS Quilt - Materials are going to be assembled in the fall, assembly Jan - May, with the two quilts targeted for completion by May, 2026

3 - 2026 Ride - A few of us are going to organize a Saturday, May 16th, 2026 Ride under the umbrella of AID Atlanta - The Official Page - (details to follow) with the goal of helping to bridge the funding gap for the AV200 Research Fellowship and to help social justice causes, like the ASOs we love. Think very informal, smaller and marking the 1-year anniversary of our final ride.

Last - needed: Do you have a name and story of someone you want on a panel of the quilts? We would love to get your help.

Keep Pushing-- Keep Pushing -- Keep Pushing --

This is a group that can get us to 200K+ - Keep asking until it hurts. Remember - it hurts more to go without care, treatment, and prevention, and we can not - WILL not go back to the dark days when HIV/AIDS ravaged our communities. The work we do with this final ride is about a WORLD without AIDS- and justice for those who need help with accessing services. The Endowment at the EVC will enshrine this community's impact - so let's make sure we go into this strong, and Onward, Together.

Rally those donations - and ask, ask, ask.

Other news-- Rider Experience has posted the routes on the AV200 website -- thanks, Amanada, for the hard wor,k and Doug and David for all the support.

eVite has been updated. If you have not RSVP'd for Thursday, please do- and note we have a new party location. - Same parking and look for signs & Volunteers to guide you.

Look for a Ride Director message on Wednesday - and a final Biker's Bulletin on Friday AM -- and as always-- keep looking at the AV200 website - this year we are using that as a living document to keep us all in the loop.

And remember our creed - what we believe-- we ride to end AIDS, remember those we lost, and to pedal in community with Hope for All.
