The God Is Able single and pregnant mother’s program was formulated after my son & I experienced the trials of being homeless and there being a shortage of resources available to us before, during, and after my pregnancy. God placed it on my heart to change and support single mothers and pregnant women who have children that are homeless. Developing housing and resources to re-establish a mother’s
independence builds self-esteem, self-help, character, integrity, wisdom, knowledge, patience, financial freedom, family togetherness, fellowship, and understanding of their purpose and destiny set by God. The scripture base for this program is Isaiah 49:8 which states “God also says: “When the time’s ripe, I answer you. I form you and use you to reconnect the people with me, to put the land in order, to resettle families on the ruined properties” (The Message Bible). The foundations name was given by God based on the scripture Ephesians 3:20 that says “Now unto Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works in us” (KJV). God Is Able Single & Pregnant Mother’s program provides transitional housing; resources to assist with re-establishment (DFACS, WIC, Education, Job training, Job search, Transportation, Banking, childcare, Professional attire (dress for success), and Money management); jobs and/or careers to those in the Early Education field; food during breakfast, lunch, and dinner; opportunities to worship, praise and serve God and parenting classes.
