This Sunday we will be riding tandems at Silver Comet Cycle shop at Floyd rd and can meet us there at 1:30- 4 with Ken Osborn arriving at 1 for those that want a refresher on tandems. On the back we will have stokers who are blind from the Ga Blind Sports. We may have Catalyst Sports - Atlanta join us. But now for the real fun part. Let's do a ride on the Upper Westside ATL and add 30 to the ride. We will start at Westside Pizza at 11 am on Sunday ride to the Westside Quarry back around the Proctor Creek Trail back to the river and up to West Village in Smyrna then Mavell then Floyd rd Silver Comet Cycle shop where we will ride Tandem for those that wish to. Then after a few miles with them we will return the 10 miles back to Bolton. This is the route to we will use going out . Options abound.

For those of you that want to come join me helping the GA Blind Sports and Catalyst Sports - Atlanta with a tandem ride on May 3. We need to get checked off to be the PILOT of the tandem this Sunday. Let Kent Osborn know. I should be there as well.

Atlanta Streets Alive typically takes place from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM on scheduled Sundays. While the event itself runs for four hours, street closures often extend from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM to allow for setup and breakdown WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP JOHN MCMICKEN for setup at 1pm, for takedown at 6pm and signing up new Team Noodle riders from 1:30-6:30. We will have shirts for those that sign up for the Team ride on Sept 19 2026. Also we are asking for riders for May 3 to captain a tandem bike of which we will have at leat 6-13 and need captains for engines in the back that are unable to see. Lots of fun rides coming every Sunday. Not this weekend, pray for my brother who I will be visiting.

Bike MS Kickoff Party (and Ride) - Saturday, March 7th
Good afternoon, cyclists! Join us next Saturday, March 7th, as we kickoff Bike MS: Georgia Peach Ride at Los Bravos Mexican Restaurant in Smyrna (4480 South Cobb Dr SE, Smyrna, GA). If you would like to ride with the local cyclists who plan to hit the Silver Comet Trail prior to the party, please plan to be on route by 1:00 pm (at the latest). If you don’t plan to participate in the kickoff ride, you can still attend the party for some free appetizers, giveaways, and to learn more about Bike MS! The party will run from 2:00 - 6:00 pm at Los Bravos.
Parking is available at the Publix Shopping Center next door to the restaurant, along with access to the Silver Comet Trail via the nearby trailhead. Those of you who want to avoid hills may prefer to use the Mavell Road trailhead at Nickajack Elementary School. Either way, be sure to stop by Los Bravos starting at 2:00 pm!
