Warming stations info.

Atlanta, as temperatures drop, the City will open warming centers to ensure residents have a safe place to stay overnight.

Warming centers will open today, January 11, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. through Monday, January 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., and again Monday, January 12, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. through Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
Warming centers will open at Central Park Recreation Center, 400 Merritts Ave. NE, Atlanta 30308; Selena S. Butler Park and Recreation Center, 98 William Holmes Borders Dr. NE, Atlanta, GA 30312 (women and children only); and Old Adamsville Recreation Center, 3404 Delmar Ln NW, Atlanta, GA 30331 (may open if overflow).

Transportation will be provided nightly at 8:00 p.m. from the Gateway Center, with return service by Fulton County once centers deactivate. Activation times may adjust based on updated National Weather Service forecasts.

If you’d like to **sponsor a family directly**, we have families ready to be matched with caring donors. Your generosity can make a huge difference in their lives this season!

**📅 Donation Pickup:**
Katie will be picking up donations through **December 17th**. Available anytime on weekends and at **6 PM on weekdays**.

This holiday season, we’re on a mission to bring joy to single moms and families experiencing homelessness in our community. We’re accepting **new and gently used toys** to brighten their Christmas, as well as **Christmas stockings filled with candy**!
