WE NEED HELP 🫶🥹
Getting a dog out of Clayton County is only the beginning.

Some of our dogs are in boarding for three days, others for two months. They may be going through heartworm treatment, waiting on medical care, or simply waiting for space at their rescue.

Dogs leaving Clayton do not come with their own collars or leashes. The temporary slip leads provided can break or be chewed through, so we want every dog leaving with a secure collar and leash.

🏁Volunteer advocates are covering these supplies, along with food, treats, chews and everything else these dogs need while they wait but it has become a huge burden financially

We created an Amazon wishlist specifically for our boarding dogs. Items ship directly there.

Even ONE item makes a difference. ❤️

💗 MS. LINDA. HOW IS THIS A 7 MONTH OLD GERMAN SHEPHERD?

Look how TINY this baby girl is.

Ms. Linda is 7 months old and only 9 lbs. Yes, NINE pounds. She’s a German Shepherd baby who is incredibly tiny for her breed.

She’s timid, sweet, people friendly and dog friendly. She needs someone who can get her out of animal control, let her feel safe and put some groceries on that tiny little body.

She’s still just a baby. She deserves the chance to grow up somewhere other than a kennel.

Deadline is Friday at 4 PM.

Georgia adopters, please email us if you can adopt.

💙 CHARLIE BABY. JUST 6 MONTHS OLD AND LOOK AT THAT FACE

Charlie is still just a baby. He’s only 6 months old and about 29 lbs, sweet as can be and absolutely adorable.

He’s dog friendly, people friendly and already fully vetted. ⭐

This little boy has his whole life ahead of him. He should not be spending his puppy months growing up at animal control.

And the best part? Charlie is ready to GO.

Deadline is Friday at 4 PM.

⭐ Georgia adopters can go directly to Clayton County Animal Control on Anvil Block Road in Ellenwood to adopt Charlie.

💗 BABY ROBBIE. EVERYBODY ALREADY KNOWS SHE’S THE FAVORITE

Oh my gosh, this baby girl. Robbie is barely 4 months old and about 20 lbs, and she is SO calm and sweet.

She’s still just a baby, but you can already tell what an amazing companion she’s going to be. She’s gentle, quiet and just wants to stay close to you.

Animal control is no place for a baby this young. Robbie needs someone to get her out of there and let her start her life.

Deadline is Friday at 4 PM.

Georgia adopters, please email us if you can adopt.

💗 HOW IS A BLUE AND WHITE GIRL THIS BEAUTIFUL STILL SITTING HERE?

Bella is only 2 years old and about 45 lbs. She’s that perfect size, absolutely gorgeous blue and white coloring, and as sweet as she looks.

She’s dog friendly, people friendly and knows basic obedience.

It’s sad to see such a beautiful, sought after blue and white girl sitting at animal control when she has so much going for her.

Adoptable

We were just notified that her boarding will be closing. We have one week to find an adopter or foster.

Puddin has been waiting patiently to be part of a family. She is dog and people friendly and would love to cuddle with her people in their own home. She has been in boarding too long. We would love a forever home for her.but if you can't please consider fostering and give her a chance at a home environment.

🐶 SIX BABIES. TEN WEEKS OLD. THEY NEED OUT NOW.

Oh my gosh, look at these babies. Six little puppies, only about 10 weeks old and 12 to 16 lbs each, sitting at animal control.

Animal control is simply no place for puppies this young. It has nothing to do with the care they receive at Clayton. A shelter is a shelter, and little immune systems are vulnerable. Kennel cough, respiratory infections and other illnesses can spread quickly, and something that an adult dog handles can be much harder on a tiny puppy.

They also came in with small wounds on their heads and bodies and need medical care.

And here is the BIG part:

THESE SIX BABIES HAVE $900 IN GUARANTEED FUNDS TO HELP GET THEM OUT!

Please, we need a rescue, foster or adopter to step up NOW. They are too young to be spending their days behind kennel doors.

Their deadline is Friday at 4 PM.

Georgia adopters, please email us so we can help with getting a puppy out.
