Georgia CTI The Georgia Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) support service is designed to assist high school students with disabilities enrolled in CTAE courses.

The Georgia Career and Technical Instruction (CTI) support service is designed to assist high school students with disabilities who are enrolled in Career, Technical, Agricultural Education (CTAE) courses. In these courses, students acquire employability skills that ease their transition to postsecondary education or the workforce. The Career Technical Student Organization of CTI offers the opportunity to students to apply the industry skills learned in their respective career pathway. Georgia CTI offers 28 competitive events that align directly with Georgia’s CTAE Course Curriculum and Standards. The first standard of all Georgia CTAE courses states that a student will demonstrate employability skills required by business and industry. Georgia CTI intentionally offers a variety of competitive events that will meet this standard such as Career Exploration /Job Interview, Community/Civic Awareness, Most Improved Person, Occupational Creative Thinking, Public Speaking, School Project and Team Career Skills. Georgia CTI is a support program that encourages student participation in one of the other respective Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) aligned with their pathway or career goal.

Challenge by Choice means deciding to step outside your comfort zone—and discovering what you can do with a team beside you. 💙

On the Mud Course, students pushed themselves, encouraged one another and learned that teamwork depends on clear communication, trust and making sure no one gets left behind.

The mud washes off. The confidence and connections stay. 🔥

Teams coming together. New friendships forming. Students stepping outside their comfort zones. Connections being made across schools and communities.

350+ students. 40+ schools. Three days of leadership, teamwork, challenges—and a whole lot of mud! 🙌

At Emerging Leaders Days, students practiced communication, critical thinking, workplace skills and what it really means to be part of a team.

From Ms. Lynsey Singleton’s lesson on loyalty to Cornflower Blue, Paparazzi and the always-popular Mud Course, students were challenged to step outside their comfort zones and discover what they’re capable of.

Challenged by choice. Connected as a team. Ready to . 🔥

The Mud Run was definitely, well, muddy! But everyone who completed it felt nothing but pride, accomplishment, and confidence in themselves and their teammates! They hardly noticed the mud at all (okay, that is not true at all 😆).

What was your favorite obstacle on the course?

We have a big group today- 170 students from 23 schools and we are having fun! It's Day 3 of team building, challenging ourselves, and making new connections! The mud run is next and it's going to be spectacular!
