Through a donation from The Southern Company Foundation, Southern Linc is proud to support the Georgia Public Safety Foundation. Founded in 1987 to assist active Georgia State Patrol troopers and their families in financial distress from illness, death or serious injury, the organization also provides scholarships for children of Department of Public Safety employees.

We know that Georgia State Patrol plays a crucial role in keeping communities safe, and we are honored to help their foundation support troopers in difficult circumstances.

The Georgia Public Safety Foundation (GPSF), formerly the Georgia Department of Public Safety Historical Society, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, dedicated to honoring and supporting Georgia's State Troopers and Officers. They provide critical financial assistance to Troopers, Officers, and their families in times of tragedy or serious injury, award scholarships to the children of those who serve, and proudly fund the annual awards ceremony, which recognizes their extraordinary acts of service and sacrifice.
