Christ-Centered. Long-Term. Recovery Residence. Restoring Homeless Women with Addictions We also provide ongoing support to Gilgal alumni after program completion.

Through our one-year, two-phase program, we provide food, clothing and housing, as well as a full range of addiction services, spiritual nourishment, life skills development, health and wellness education and career training and education. We are located in Atlanta and currently serve the metro area, as well as greater Georgia. Gilgal has a 501(c)(3) designation and relies upon generous donations

from individuals, churches, businesses, foundations, and community organizations. OUR VISION:
Assist women in breaking the cycle of defeat that led them to drug and alcohol addiction and replace it with a cycle of victorious living through Jesus Christ. OUR VALUES:
Using the Holy Bible as our guide, we will: exercise integrity by doing the right thing at all times; deliver best of breed service offerings to our clients and employees; treat clients with dignity and worth; exercise sound fiscal accountability for individuals and organizations who invest in us; and give back to the community.

The women of Gilgal had a wonderful time at our 2026 Spring Tea 🫖 💐 Because God’s mercies are new every day, our women get another chance to heal, transform and change their lives. With the support of our lovely attendees, our women are not only safely sheltered, fed and supported, they are given the chance to grow with God. Gilgal joyfully marked a significant milestone on Tuesday, January 13, with the official ribbon cutting of Gilgal Village, a new modular housing initiative located on Gilgal’s campus. The event brought together community leaders, partners, supporters, staff, and friends to celebrate a shared vision rooted in dignity, hope, and restoration.

includes four private housing units arranged in an intentional, village-style setting on campus. The impact of these homes is significant—expanding Gilgal’s capacity to welcome women at critical moments and strengthening continuity within the recovery journey.
