What a fabulous event we had on Saturday! Congratulations to our 7 Class of 2021 participants - Madison Hartzog (Georgia Military College Prep School, Baldwin Co.), Lauren McDaniel (Upson-Lee High School, Upson Co.), Sophia Lin (Lee County High School, Lee Co.), Ariana Ukaonu (Lee County High School, Lee Co.), Natalie Johnson (Tattnall Square Academy, Bibb Co.), Samirah Smalls (Howard High School, Monroe Co.), and Kaleigh Grace Conway (Upson-Lee High School, Upson Co.).

Many Thanks to Abby Mathews, Distinguished Young Woman of GA, and our Class of 2020 Has Been volunteers who made the day possible - Mona Ghimire, Ellie Gervero, Bickley Reeves, Davia Allen and Madalyn Reed. We also give a BIG shoutout to Donna Jones for her generosity in allowing us the use of her classroom & gym at LCHS, and to Sherry Reed for arranging lunch for our participants & volunteers.

The announcement for Georgia’s At-Large participants qualifying for state finals will be made at the end of March.

After visiting the Georgia State Capitol, the Class of 2020 girls enjoyed an awesome lunch at the Varsity! We of course had to grab a picture of them in the classic Varsity hats.
