A new model for hepatitis elimination is taking shape in Thailand. 🌏

A recent feature highlights the launch of the "Phichit Model," an ambitious effort to expand hepatitis B and C screening, strengthen linkage to care, and prevent liver cancer through a province-wide approach that aims to ensure no patient is left behind. The initiative seeks to screen all residents born before 1992 in Phichit Province by 2028 and connect those diagnosed with timely care and treatment.

At the heart of this work is the THAI-B Study, part of COR-HEPB's efforts to evaluate how large-scale, decentralized hepatitis B testing, treatment, and long-term care can be delivered in real-world settings.
