We are excited to celebrate the impactful work of Professor Dr. R.P. Shanmugam, the recipient of our 2026 Eliminations Champion Legacy Award. Dr. Shanmugam is the founder of the Chennai Liver Foundation and has spent over five decades using his expertise as a surgical gastroenterologist, liver transplant surgeon, and public health advocate to advance viral hepatitis elimination in India.
