We came with a plan. We left with something much bigger.
Mike’s Angels 2026 took us from the streets of Antigua—where we witnessed the depth of Holy Week faith in every step of the processions—to the mountains above Lake Atitlán, where that same spirit shows up in everyday life.
We spent time with the little ones at God Bless the Children and the girls at Hogar San Jerónimo—where we were invited to be present in a way that matters more than anything we could give.
At the Opal House, we joined the children in their classrooms and shared in the hope and joy of Easter. We learned what it looks like to work together toward change that will outlast all of us. We shared meals, laughter, and songs with new friends who now feel like family.
Nothing about this trip was surface-level. It was early mornings, long days, and showing up fully.
And here’s the truth: the impact doesn’t come from a single big moment. It comes from a hundred small ones—conversations, eye contact, helping hands, showing up again the next day.
Mike’s Angels, together with its local partners in outreach and education, is proof that steady, committed love changes lives—not someday, but right now.
We’re home now, different than when we left. Grateful. Grounded. And carrying stories that don’t end here.
If you want to see what’s possible when people commit to something bigger than themselves, consider a mission trip—or encourage someone you love to take that step. 💛
