WARM - Women Are the Real Majority

Website

WARM - Women Are the Real Majority Women, the Majority of the world's population are present in Arts & Humanities, Business, Sports…

This page was created by Historian, Oral Historian and Dramaturg Leslye Joy Allen, and it is devoted to promoting both cis and trans women , non-binary femmes/women (particularly women of color) who are doing extraordinary things in the arts, literature, education, the humanities, human rights, social and political activism, the sciences, environmentalism, and in business. Often we will advocate for women who are suffering due to sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, racism, and xenophobia. Occasionally this page will feature men who genuinely support women, but only those men who do so without condescension. Feel free to contact us and post about the women in your community who do incredible work! Also, keep in mind that this is not a page devoted to negativity, so keep your posts upbeat and keep whining to a minimum, and focused on the women who change all of our lives every day we live on this planet! Remember Women ARE the Majority...and WE need no explanations or apologies for being who WE are or doing WHAT WE love to do.

I had the honor of writing the Forward to Hope Giselle Godsey’s second book “Until I Met Black Men.” Well this trailblazing transgender activist and author won The Essence Festival for her film “Not Your Average Girl.” 🤎Muva Leslye

“Anna” was “Joe’s” younger sister. “Joe” was portrayed by the amazing Sammy Davis, Jr. who was the star of the show. There were other future luminaries in “Golden Boy” as well—Johnny Brown, Louis Gossett, Jr., and Lola Falana. In the Summer of 1965, I was four and a half years old. I had a great childhood.” — Leslye Joy Allen

Vice-President Kamala Harris breaks silence on the real cost of Trump winning, Biden's shocking debate day call, why skipping Joe Rogan was a big mistake, election loss lessons, and...will she run again in 2028?

“On October 13, 2025, Letitia James publicly responded to her indictment by criticizing those who ‘weaponize justice for political gain’ and defending both her work and personal resolve.

We see powerful voices trying to silence truth and punish dissent. We are witnessing the fraying of our democracy, the erosion of our system of government."

‘I will not bow. I will not break. I will not bend. You come for me, you've got to come through all of us. Every single one of us. We're all in this together.’

James described the charges as baseless and linked them directly to President Trump's ongoing quest for political retribution, asserting her determination to fight the case and continue her job. James’s remarks received a standing ovation and chants of support at the event, reflecting her defiant stance in the face of prosecution.”— Jemele Hill

Nothing means more than those who recognize Generation Z and tap into what matters to them and the next steps…I love you Kamala Harris.

This is why I love/d James Baldwin and Maya Angelou—They did not exhaust themselves with insignificant 💩.
