The air inside the United Nations Headquarters in New York carried a sense of urgency and purpose. At the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), global leaders gathered not just to speak, but to confront the realities facing millions of women and girls around the world.

At the heart of this moment stood the Waterlight Save Initiative, led by its President and Founder, Dr. Prince Ero Ibhafidon. For the organization, CSW70 was more than a convening, it was an opportunity to elevate the lived experiences of underserved communities across Africa and the diaspora.

During the informal consultations, a clear concern was raised: despite global commitments, too many women still face systemic barriers that limit their potential. From gender-based violence and lack of access to quality education, to inadequate healthcare and economic exclusion, the gap between policy and real impact remains significant. These are not distant challenges, they are daily realities for millions.

When women are empowered, communities thrive. When women are protected, nations grow stronger. When women lead, peace becomes sustainable.

This message reinforced the urgent need for intentional action, investment, and accountability.

Through the iHEAL Framework, Waterlight Save Initiative continues to champion a sustainable, community-driven approach, with a bold vision to reach 20 million additional beneficiaries across 10 African nations by 2030. This is not just a goal, it is a commitment to transforming lives through innovation, dignity, and opportunity.

None of this progress stands alone.

We extend our deepest appreciation to our valued partners who continue to stand with us in purpose and action. To NAWO UK, Widow’s Rights International (WRI), Welcome to London Club, Justina Mutarli Foundation, and our many global partners, your collaboration, advocacy, and shared vision are instrumental in driving meaningful change.

We also thank the United Nations and UN Women for providing a platform that continues to amplify the urgency of gender equality as a global priority.

As CSW70 concludes, one thing is clear: the conversations must translate into action. The re

Water access is more than a basic need , it’s a matter of equity.

Women and girls carry the greatest burden, yet they hold the power to lead the solution. When we invest in them, we unlock healthier communities, stronger economies, and a more sustainable future.

Let’s make equality flow. 💧

Today at the United Nations during the landmark Commission on the Status of Women 70th Session, we joined global leaders, advocates, and institutions to reaffirm a shared commitment to advancing justice, dignity, and equal opportunity for women and girls across the world.

It was a great honour to engage with the President of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Annalena Baerbock, in a conversation focused on strengthening global collaboration to accelerate progress on gender equality and sustainable development.

Our engagement continued at the Women’s Rights International event hosted by the Bahá’í International Community, where leaders and changemakers gathered to address one of the most urgent global challenges justice and protection for women in conflict zones and vulnerable communities around the world.

The path forward requires bold action. Education for girls. Economic empowerment for women. Strong legal protections. Meaningful participation of women in leadership and peacebuilding. When women are empowered, communities thrive. When women are protected, nations grow stronger. When women lead, peace becomes sustainable.

At Waterlight Save Initiative, we believe the future of global development depends on ensuring that every woman and every girl has the opportunity to rise, lead, and shape the world we share.

The conversations at CSW70 are not just discussions. They are a call to action for governments, institutions, and civil society to build a world where equality is not an aspiration but a reality.

Today we celebrate strength, resilience, brilliance, and the unstoppable power of women across the world.

Women are the backbone of our families, the builders of our communities, the innovators shaping our future, and the voices that continue to inspire change in every corner of the globe. Every challenge overcome, every barrier broken, and every dream pursued is a reminder that when women rise, the world rises with them.

Let us continue to create a world where every girl knows her worth, every woman has a seat at the table, and every voice is heard without limitation. The future we are building must be one where opportunity, dignity, and leadership belong equally to women everywhere.

To the women leading, nurturing, creating, fighting, and believing — today we honor you. Your courage writes history, and your vision shapes tomorrow.

Happy International Women’s Day.
Keep rising. Keep leading. Keep inspiring.

For the first time in my life, I received a monetary donation in a plaque form, from Greater Zion Ministry, California, a First Baptist Church. It is not about the amount. It is about the meaning behind it.

It is a reminder that impact speaks. Service is seen. When you dedicate your life to lifting others, God raises people to support the vision.

This moment is proof that the world is watching and that Waterlight Save Initiative is not just talking about change, we are driving it. We are shifting lives, restoring hope, and building futures across communities and nations.

And this is only the beginning.

In August, at the iHEAL Global Youth Impact Forum, we will be doing the same by placing non refundable grants directly into the hands of young people, alongside startup equipment, so they can launch businesses, create jobs, and transform their families’ futures.

We cannot do it alone.

If this vision speaks to you, partner with us. Sow into a generation. Support a dream. Help us empower youths with real opportunities, real funding, and real tools for success.

Together, we can turn recognition into multiplication and generosity into generational impact.

The mission continues. The vision is clear. The best is yet to come.

Thank you for believing in the vision and investing in impact.
