This artist has a lot of ingenuity! I found this photo on a free site and a little later this caption came to mind! I could imagine the artist considering the plight of this poor tree and the practical and artistic potential of the trash can beneath it....Then I thought about what possible needs I could address in a creative and artistic way... So fellow artists, how about you guys? Any crazy, wild, practical, humorous ideas out there?

This artist really had some ingenuity! I found the photo on a free site and added my words to it on Photoshop. Whoever the artist was, they saw this tree in need and provided a very creative solution! It made me wonder what needs exist that I could help solve artistically. Okay, fellow artists, how about it? Any needs? Any ideas?

I'm often inspired by the marvelous creativity of other artists although their work may be totally different from my own! This is a great example of Art using African textiles

Brooklyn-based artist Bisa Butler (previously) uses brightly colored cotton, wool, and chiffon fabrics with bold patterns to piece together quilts featuring detailed portraits of Black people. The materials and themes connect American subjects with their African roots and tell visual stories of hist

Since "Artist and Psalmist" is my art feed, I want to add a few extra comments about my drawing here too.
Each portrait I complete is so much more than just a successful likeness. I pray about it and the family involved. I ask for the Holy Spirit to guide my hands and help me capture the essence of the person or people that I am drawing in a way that will touch hearts.

Hi friends!

Have your plants been talking to you lately? Mine have! Except that they're not really mine. They belong to my friend, Yoli who is using them to decorate my patio.

The charming scene below is the work of her hands, not mine. She is the one who vigilantly guards these and all her other foliage from plague and pestilence as she tends to their every need, showers them with attention and coaxes them into lush, fruitful maturity.

As I watch her nurture her plants, I'm reminded that thriving as an artist and psalmist also includes conscientious stewardship of all that God has placed under my care, (including plants) and all whom He has brought into my sphere of influence.

Actually...that goes for whatever our call might be!

¡Hola amigos!
