Featured Artist - ash has been honing her skills, curation, and collection of cuts for 25 years. In that time, she has developed a focus on forward thinking, darker flavors, beginning with a foundation in y2k era techstep and jungle selections and moving into deep and dark minimal, technical, and tribal sounds. Today's sets see ash blurring the lines between tribal drum and bass, autonomic and halftime sounds with driving subsonic bass, aggressive chopped breaks, and blisteringly haunting sound design, making for truly unforgettable up-front sets on the forefront of cutting edge, future thinking breakbeat music.

Founder of Darkroom Atl and repping Atl DJ Collective

Catch ash getting back to jungle roots along with Elliott Lieutenant Reid and Dan Nope this Thurdsay!

Featured Artist: Elliott Lieutenantt Reid -

Hailing from Philly, Elliott Reid, AKA Lieutenant Reid, got a early taste of DnB back in 1997 by listening to a local radio DJ named Starchild and from buying records from the infamous vinyl ju**ie Jason Magin at 611 Records. The Lieutenant got deep into the Philly DnB scene by working security at Dieselboy’s DnB curated night Platinum at Fluid Nightclub. Influenced by the sounds from 2 Bad Mice, Lemon D, Starchild, Roni Size, Dillinja, and Shy FX, Lt. Reid is a big proponent of the U.S. Drum and Bass scene.

Lt. Reid uniquely blends Old School with New School to take junglists on a journey that spans multiple decades from the knowledge he has gained over his 20 years of DJing dipping in and out of Jungle, Liquid Funk, Sambass, Techstep and intelligent sounds.

His talent as a DJ receives high praises as he is often sought after to either open or headline shows up and down the Eastcoast, sharing the stage with the likes of Friction, Edward Oberon, Mason, Dara, AMC, Flite, Echo Brown, AK1200, Jumping Jack Frost and MC Armanni Reign

Affiliations: Soccer Mom Death Squad, Atlanta DJ Collective, Elevate DnB

We're stoked to have Lieutenant Reid on the decks with us next Thursday!

Featured Artist: OL SKEE (Dan Nope) -

Hailing from Charleston, South Carolina, Ol Skee has been a fixture in the South East electronic music scene for over two decades. His DJ journey began in the early 2000s while studying at Clemson University and working at WSBF FM 88.1. Immersed in the underground jungle and drum & bass culture, he built his foundation with a carefully curated vinyl collection sourced from iconic shops such as Satellite Records, Vibe Tribe, Manifest Records, Breakbeat Science, Chemical Records, and Redeye Records.

After a long hiatus and during the pandemic, Ol Skee made his return to the ATL drum and bass scene. Continuing to push Jungle/Drum and Bass sounds, he also found a new appreciation for Footwork/Juke. With over 25 years since he began his journey, Ol Skee continues to push boundaries, blending genres and sharing sounds with audiences who crave something unique and powerful. His mixes are a reflection of his deep love for the culture and his relentless pursuit of musical exploration.

Pull up to Buteco next Thursday to see what Ol Skee has in store!!
