Sip Around The Village is Almost Here!

We’re getting closer to Saturday, August 29, and we’re excited to see our community come together for the first-ever Sip Around The Village! This special event is a great opportunity to explore Dunwoody Village, support our local businesses, enjoy live music and great food, and most importantly, help raise funds for the Dunwoody Police Foundation and our mission of supporting the men and women who serve and protect our community.

Before we look ahead, we want to give another BIG shoutout to Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar for hosting an incredible four-week fundraiser benefiting the Dunwoody Police Foundation! We are so grateful to Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar and to every member of our community who stopped by, enjoyed a meal, and helped support our mission.

Partnerships like this allow us to continue supporting the Dunwoody Police Department through critical equipment, training, officer assistance, and programs that strengthen the connection between our officers and the community. And we're not slowing down! 🎉 Our next fundraiser, Sip Around The Village, is getting closer, and we can't wait to see everyone there!

The Dunwoody Citizens’ Police Academy is an incredible opportunity for our residents to go behind the scenes and experience firsthand the training, responsibilities, and dedication that go into keeping our community safe.

Programs like this do more than educate. They bring residents and officers together, strengthen relationships, build trust, and give our community a better understanding of the men and women who serve Dunwoody every day. 💙

What an incredible evening! 💙🚓

We were honored to be part of another successful National Night Out and to see so many families, neighbors, and supporters come together in support of the Dunwoody Police Department and our public safety partners.

We Can’t Wait to See Everyone Tomorrow at National Night Out! 🚓

Tomorrow is the night! The Dunwoody Police Foundation is excited to join the Dunwoody Police Department and our amazing community for National Night Out at Brook Run Park. This is one of our favorite events of the year because it brings neighbors, families, and first responders together for an evening of fun while strengthening the partnerships that help keep Dunwoody safe.

If you haven’t made plans yet, come out and meet your local officers, explore public safety vehicles, enjoy great food, and connect with others in our community. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and celebrating what makes Dunwoody such a special place to live, work, and visit!

Community safety is about more than responding to calls. It’s about showing compassion, building trust, and connecting people with the resources they need.

We are proud to support the Dunwoody Police Department and community partners like St. Vincent de Paul for working together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness while helping keep our community safe. Join us in recognizing these dedicated officers and volunteers, and help support our mission to strengthen public safety and community partnerships by following, sharing, and supporting the Dunwoody Police Foundation.

This morning, Dunwoody Police officers partnered with dedicated volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul to conduct an outreach to individuals experiencing homelessness within our community.

During the outreach, officers made contact with five individuals. Two accepted services and were transported to a local shelter, two declined services, and one individual was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

Every person contacted received a care bag generously assembled by volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul. These outreach efforts are about building relationships, offering resources, and connecting those in need with available services while helping keep our community safe.

A special thank you to the volunteers from St. Vincent de Paul for their compassion, partnership, and commitment to serving others. Your support makes a meaningful difference.
