Always a blast to see what creativity comes from the Culinary Contest!

Recognize someone in this photo? Last year, Misty represented Cobb at the state level in the Georgia School Nutrition Association Culinary Arts Competition!

But here’s the best part — you could be next!

Whether you’re an FSA, Key Person, MIT, or Manager, the Culinary Arts Competition is an opportunity to showcase your creativity, culinary skills, and the incredible talent we have throughout Cobb FNS. Sorry to the public, you'll have to join our team to compete!

The GSNA Culinary Arts Competition is designed to recognize and strengthen the culinary skills of school nutrition professionals while developing delicious, student-focused recipes.

And this year's theme couldn't be more fitting:
SIMPLY THE BEST!

The 2026–27 competition includes opportunities to create everything from breakfast and lunch entrées to vegetable side dishes — with an emphasis on nutritious, student-approved recipes and Georgia Grown ingredients.

Leadership in Action!

Our team had the opportunity to participate in Leadership Training focused on completing the Scroll and developing a Plan of Action that reflects this year's theme: Simply The Best.

The session challenged attendees to think intentionally about what it means to lead with purpose, inspire excellence, and create meaningful impact. This is where we can turn vision into action while continuing to elevate school nutrition programs across Georgia.

It was great to see all the managers and FSAs who showed up and made the CSNA Holiday Social so fun and festive!
