The Friends of the Tyrone Museum are looking for your help with Wreaths Across America. Please read the entire post to find different ways you can help.
We are still looking for sponsors for Wreaths to be placed on veterans' graves. Wreaths are $17.00 each and you can sponsor a wreath at either Sharon Memorial Gardens or Hopewell Cemetery by scanning the QR Code. We have 233 veterans between both cemeteries, and we have sponsors for 103 wreaths.
OTHER WAYS YOU CAN HELP
- The week of December 9th we need to mark all 233 graves with a small flag.
- On Dec. 13, we need help receiving the wreaths.
- On the morning of Dec. 14 (before the ceremony) we need help staging the wreaths at both cemeteries.
- Immediately following the ceremony at Veterans Park, we need help honoring the veterans by laying the wreaths on each of the graves.
