๐Ÿฅ›โžก๏ธ๐Ÿ– WORD TO WONDER IS BACK | MILESTONE 6

After our Fifth Wednesday sabbatical, we are back at the table this Wednesday for Word to Wonder Bible Study, and itโ€™s time to bring Milestone 6: Resilience & Wholeness to a close!

This milestone has taken us on a journey from surviving to becoming whole. Weโ€™ve explored resilience, examined healing through spiritual and clinical lenses, and walked through a biblical case study that showed us what it looks like to remain faithful through adversity while allowing God to address what the journey affected within us.

Now itโ€™s time to bring it all together.

Because spiritual maturity is not simply about being able to say, โ€œI survived it.โ€ It is about allowing what we survived to become wisdom, growth, and evidence of who we are becoming.

โœจ MAKE ROOM FOR SOMETHING TO GO RIGHT.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to disappointment that we start preparing for trouble before trouble ever arrives. We rehearse what could fail, brace ourselves for what could hurt, and call it wisdom when sometimes it is simply exhaustion from what we have already survived.

But what if this season does not require you to brace yourself?

What if you can loosen your grip, exhale a little, and leave room for a different outcome?

You have enough evidence that God can sustain you when things go wrong. Now give yourself permission to believe that something can go beautifully right. ๐ŸคŽโœจ

Make room for good news.
Make room for answered prayers.
Make room for unexpected kindness.
Make room for joy that does not come with a warning attached.

You do not have to meet every new possibility with an old expectation.

Something could go beautifully right. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

๐ŸŒฟ TODAY WE CLOSE THE FEAST. ๐Ÿ•๏ธโœจ

For seven days, we have dwelt. We have remembered. We have celebrated Godโ€™s provision and made room in our homes for THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH US.

Today, we gather for our 8th Day Holy Convocation, the sacred assembly that brings our Feast of Tabernacles Digital Celebration to its conclusion.

๐Ÿ“– โ€œOn the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto youโ€ฆโ€
Leviticus 23:36

During todayโ€™s Sacred Sabbath Worship & Bible Education, Elder Monte Douthit will close us out as we reflect on what these days of dwelling have taught us and what we are called to carry beyond the booth. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Because eventually, the booth comes down.

But the God who stayed with us in it goes with us when we leave it. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ•๏ธ | THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH US

Life has a way of reminding us how temporary things can be. Places change. Plans shift. What we thought would last sometimes doesnโ€™t. But even there, God knows how to make Himself at home. ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ

During our Feast of Tabernacles Digital Celebration, Pastor Yolanda invites us to consider what a temporary dwelling can teach us about trusting an eternal God.

The real testimony is not that everything stayed together. It is that GOD STAYED. ๐ŸคŽ

We have spent so much time arguing about whether our children can pray at school, but do they see us pray at home? ๐Ÿ‘€

And with videos circulating of parents saying, โ€œWhile youโ€™re teaching your children manners, weโ€™re teaching ours hexes and curses,โ€ it raises a question for OUR homes: What are we intentionally teaching our children about God?

Manners matter. But are we also teaching them to pray, understand Scripture, exercise discernment, and live their faith? Are they seeing us practice what we want them to carry?

In this reel, Pastor Yolanda brings the message of Sukkot HOME. God instructed His people to bring the next generation into the remembrance of His faithfulness, giving their children a story they could experience right where they lived.

Our children should have memories of encountering God somewhere other than a church pew. Let them remember that we prayed together, opened Scripture together, laughed together, and that GOD MET US AT THE TABLE TOO. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿพ๐ŸคŽ

ANYPLACE CAN BE SANCTUARY. Make room for His presence right where you live. ๐Ÿกโœจ

๐ŸŒฟ WE HAVE DWELT. NOW WE GATHER TO CLOSE THE FEAST. ๐Ÿ•๏ธโœจ

For seven days, Sukkoth has called us to remember what it means to dwell with God in temporary places, celebrate His provision, and recognize the gift of His presence.

Now, as the seventh day comes to a close, Scripture calls us into the 8th Day Holy Convocation, the sacred assembly that brings this appointed time to its conclusion.

THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH ME | PART FOUR โœจ

During the first day of our Great Feast celebration, Pastor Yolanda walked us through the biblical story of dwelling, from Israelโ€™s temporary booths in the wilderness, to Jesus at the Feast, to believers gathering from house to house.

But the story of God dwelling with humanity does not end there.

It takes us all the way to Revelation.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 21:1โ€“3

John sees a new heaven and a new earth, and then hears this declaration:

โ€œBehold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them.โ€

And suddenly, the temporary booth helps us see something eternal.

Israel lived in booths to remember that God stayed with them in the wilderness.

Jesus came and dwelt among us.

Through the Holy Spirit, God makes His dwelling within His people.

But Revelation shows us where the entire story is headed:

God dwelling with humanity forever.

That is what makes the Feast of Tabernacles more than an exercise in remembering the past. It also causes us to look toward what is still to come.

The temporary dwelling reminds us that temporary was never the final plan.

One day there will be no wilderness to survive.
No temporary booth to construct.
No distance between God and humanity.

The One who stayed with His people through every temporary season will dwell with them eternally.

And THAT brings the entire teaching full circle.

๐ŸŒฟ He sustained us in the wilderness.
๐Ÿ’ง He came near in Christ.
๐Ÿ  He dwells among and within His people.
โœจ And He will dwell with us forever.

That is THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH ME.

The real testimony is not that everything stayed together.

It is that GOD STAYED.

๐Ÿ“– Revelation 21:1โ€“3

THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH ME | PART THREE ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿž

During the first day of our Great Feast celebration, Pastor Yolanda continued walking us through Scripture, showing us how the biblical theme of dwelling moves from the wilderness, through Christ, and into the life of the believing community.

By the time we arrive in Acts, something has shifted.

๐Ÿ“– Acts 2:42, 46โ€“47

The Holy Spirit has been poured out, and the early believers are forming a new kind of community. They continued in the apostlesโ€™ teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer.

And Luke gives us an important detail:

They broke bread from house to house.

The presence of God was not confined to one designated sacred location.

Their homes became gathering places.
Their tables became places of fellowship.
Their meals became opportunities for communion.
Their everyday lives became spaces where faith was practiced together.

This is important to THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH ME because Godโ€™s desire to dwell with His people was never simply about a structure.

It was always about relationship.

The booth taught Israel to remember the God who stayed.

Jesus revealed the God who came near.

And through the Spirit formed community in Acts, we see believers learning how to dwell with God and with one another.

This is why we say at The Sanctuary:

ANYPLACE CAN BE SANCTUARY.

A home can become Sanctuary.
A table can become Sanctuary.
A virtual room can become Sanctuary.

Not because the space itself is sacred, but because God is present with His people wherever they make room to gather, worship, pray, learn, fellowship and break bread together.

๐Ÿ  THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH ME also gives me a community in which to dwell.

๐Ÿ“– Acts 2:42, 46โ€“47

๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ•๏ธ WORD TO WONDER | FIFTH WEDNESDAY SABBATICAL

TONIGHT, Word to Wonder Bible Study will be on sabbatical as we observe our regular Fifth Wednesday pause and continue celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles.

This week, weโ€™re making room to enjoy the Feast, spend time in our home tabernacles, reflect on what weโ€™ve learned, and simply experience THE GOD WHO STAYS WITH US.

There will be no Word to Wonder on September 30, but weโ€™ll be back at the table Wednesday, October 7 at 7:30 PM ET as we continue our journey From Milk to Meat. ๐Ÿฅ›โžก๏ธ๐Ÿ–

In the meantime, catch up on previous Word to Wonder teachings on YouTube at .

Enjoy the Feast, Sanctuary family! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ•๏ธโœจ
