This year for the Pre-game events our co-hosts, Anniston Aviation will be having a raffle to raise funds for the Calhoun County Blue Line Foundation. Here is a list of some of the great prizes:

$3 raffle-
(2) Women's Gift Baskets- Owala bottle, beanie set, prayer cards, throw, notebook, and will be inside a nice woven basket
(2) Men's Gift Baskets- Titan hat, Titan socks, Titan ink pen, Dewalt screwdriver bit set, fishing lure set, prayer cards, and will be in a nice wooden basket/box.
(2) $100 Visa gift cards
(1) $100 UberEats gift card

1 hour flight lessons from Cheaha Fly.

We hope to see everyone on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 3pm 9pm at the Anniston Municipal Airport. We will have lots of fun emergency vehicles for people to look at and learn about along with Oxford Police Aviation helicopter and tentatively a Survival Flight Air Rescue. The Anniston Fire Department will also have their ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting) truck.

Good Morning Weaver!

Today is the Smoke Eaters Chili Challenge being held at the Kress in Anniston. This fundraiser is for your very own fire department. The brave men and women that come when you are in an emergency situation such as a vehicle crash or fire. The Weaver FD is wanting to upgrade their extrication equipment to be able to serve the community better.

Did you know that if each resident were to donate only $16 that goal would be achieved and the equipment would be purchased. We are asking the Weaver community to please make a donation of ANY denomination (even a $1 donation will get them closer).

Remember, if you, or a loved one is involved in a crash, this donation may help to save you or their lives. We have attached the direct link to the donation page for this event. The Calhoun County Blue Line Foundation is a 501(c)(3) and all donations may be tax deductible.

Thank you for everyone that has been so supportive of this event. We had a great time yesterday at the touch a truck and hope to keep the momentum at today's chili challenge.

Its on! The Smoke Eater Chili Challenge has officially begun. The police are coming for the firefighters to take the trophy! Are the firefighters concerned? Nope, there stance is "We can handle the heat better!"

Be sure to come out to the Kress in Anniston on July 13th to see who will take the trophy back to their department for the next year.
