GAWL recently filed a motion to file an amicus brief in support of Petitioner for the U.S. Supreme Court case Strickland v. Moritz. The Civic Engagement Committee oversaw efforts to research and draft the amicus brief, partnering with the Legal Accountability Project to advocate for increased workplace protections against sexual harassment and gender discrimination within the federal judiciary.

We are so proud of the pro bono team—including students representing three different law school chapters—who volunteered their time and talents to work on this project. Read the motion, amicus brief, and check out the Law360 article highlighting GAWL’s argument.
