What a summer it has been at Angel’s House! ☀️💙
Summer at Angel’s House isn’t about keeping busy: it’s about creating safe experiences, building healthy relationships, discovering new interests, serving our community, and reminding every girl that she is valued, capable, and deeply loved.
From dinners at local favorites, movie nights, shopping trips, ice cream stops, baseball games, horseback riding, safari adventures, theater performances, farmers markets, church events, patriotic celebrations, and Fourth of July fireworks, to college tours across Georgia, back-to-school shopping, haircuts, nail days, and countless evenings relaxing together at home, every moment helped create opportunities for connection, healing, and growth.
One of our favorite parts of the summer was watching our girls dream about their futures through visits to Mercer University, Georgia Military College, Georgia College & State University, Georgia Tech, the University of North Georgia, and Dalton State College.
We also celebrated exciting milestones as one of our young ladies proudly earned her driver’s license, while every girl had opportunities to build confidence, make memories, and prepare for the year ahead.
Giving back remained a priority as our girls volunteered at Brookdale Senior Living, There’s More Soup Kitchen, and spent time serving alongside the Newnan Police Department and Coweta County Fire Rescue, while also helping raise awareness for the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.
Every experience was an opportunity to heal, grow, laugh, learn, and dream bigger. None of this happens without the generosity of our donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners.
Because of you, our girls aren’t just making memories—they’re building brighter futures. Thank you for believing in them and investing in what healing can look like. 💙✨
