Happy Saturday! As I’m getting ready to go to an adoption event at PetSmart this morning, I am cleaning up after Puppies and longing for a place where Bartow County dogs can be seen regularly by the public and adopted.

I’m going to ask this again… because we still need your help. ❤️

We are still searching for a space for Bartow Rescue & Resources, and I’m convinced that the right property is out there. We just haven’t found the person who knows about it yet.

By the time I find a commercial property listed online, it’s usually already rented. And if it has a big FOR SALE/LEASE sign out front, I’ve probably already looked at it. 😂

The truth is, as much as I would LOVE something right outside of town, in a busy, visible location, our little rescue simply cannot afford the price tag that comes with those properties.

And then there’s zoning. We aren’t looking for just any building. It has to actually work for what we are trying to do.

But I know there are properties sitting empty.

I know there are buildings that may be coming available.

I know there are owners who may be thinking about selling or leasing.

And I know there are people in this community who know about those properties before they ever hit the internet.

We do have a realtor working with us, and she is actively searching. What I’m asking YOU to do is help us widen the circle.

If you know a commercial realtor, commercial property owner, developer, investor, or someone who just seems to know where every empty building in Bartow County is…

👉 Please tag them.

I would love to put them in touch with our realtor and see if we can get something moving.

We aren’t necessarily looking for someone to give us a building. We’re looking for an opportunity.

A property that may not be perfect today but could work.

An owner willing to work with a nonprofit.

A building that has been sitting empty.

A property that someone knows is going to become available.

We just need to find it.

So I’m asking again — please help us look beyond the listings.

Because sometimes the best opportunities aren’t advertised yet.

Hello Bogeys family!

Have you ever considered fostering? 🐾

We have some really good pups who just need a place to crash for a few weeks—and we also need weekend and vacation sitters!💕

And here’s something you may not have considered: fostering doesn’t necessarily mean bringing another dog into your household full-time.🐾

If you’re worried your resident pup might not approve, that’s okay. For a short-term foster, a separate bedroom, kitchen, or even a temperature-controlled garage can work. We can help you figure out what would be safe and comfortable for everyone.

We provide everything your foster needs.

You provide the loving place to land. ❤️

And yes… sometimes people foster and fall completely in love. We call that a foster fail, and while we are absolutely thrilled for that dog, it does mean we lose a foster home. 😂❤️

That’s why we need more people willing to open their homes—even if it’s only for a weekend.

Because the more foster homes we have, the more pets we can help.🙌

So if you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to help, but I just can’t commit long-term,” this might be exactly what you’ve been looking for.
