Bartow Rescue & Resources

Bartow Rescue & Resources Bartow Rescue & Resources is a 501 (c) (3) serving our community's pets and their humans. We need you!

To give to our campus fundraiser, click here: https://givebutter.com/c/campus Our mission is to care for pets and their people right here in our community, offering kindness, hope, and support when it’s needed most. We rescue animals from local Animal Control facilities that do not allow public adoptions and take in urgent owner surrenders to give every pet a second chance. We help families stay together by providing financial assistance for veterinary care, food, and other essential needs. We also stand beside local organizations that support individuals facing domestic violence, substance abuse, and homelessness—offering help through funding, medical care, or temporary fostering for their pets. Together, we are building a compassionate network of neighbors dedicated to reducing the pet crisis and keeping love where it belongs—at home. We believe change starts within our own community, and by lifting each other up, we make a lasting difference for both animals and the humans who cherish them.

Plot twist… I came back home. 😂🐾

Tupi headed to Qualusi hoping to meet his forever family. He brought his best smile, his playful puppy personality, and those irresistible eyes… and somehow, he still came home with his foster mom. 💛

That’s okay, Tupi. Your people just haven’t found you yet.

Please SHARE Tupi. Maybe his forever family follows YOU. 🏡🐾

Next up in our Meet Our Adoptable Dogs series… meet Sophie/Roxy! 🐾💕

Sophie/Roxy is a little princess who loves kisses and has plenty of personality! She can be slow to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’ll try to get right into your soul. ❤️

She gets along beautifully with children, is potty trained, and she’s definitely not afraid to tell you what’s on her mind — this girl is very talkative! 😂

And if there’s mud or water around, Sophie/Roxy is ready for some fun. 💦🐾

She can be selective with other dogs, so slow, thoughtful introductions are best.

Give her a little time, and she may just find her way straight into your heart. ❤️

🏡 Interested in adopting Sophie/Roxy?
Visit bartowrescue.org/adopt/ to check her current availability and submit an adoption application.

Not ready to adopt? Fostering, volunteering, sharing our posts, or supporting the rescue can make a difference too. ❤️

Keep following us — we’ll be introducing more of our available dogs!

Next up in our Meet Our Adoptable Dogs series… meet Amelia! 🐾💙

Sweet Amelia has been waiting longer than we ever expected for her forever family. 💛

At 1 year and 7 months old and about 27 lbs, Amelia is a sweet, calm girl who loves being around people. She’s good with kids, good with cats, enjoys her walks, and is perfectly happy relaxing and keeping you company.

When it comes to other dogs, Amelia can be selective, so thoughtful introductions are important. She may be happiest soaking up all the love as your one-and-only pup. 🐶

She’s ready for someone to finally say, “You’re coming home with me.” 🏡
