Remember Me…
(Reposted)

Sept. 11, 2001, The day Flight 93 was hijacked by terrorist and our heroes refused to let them finish murdering more.
This photo is of the Tower of Voices at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Somerset County. Standing 93 feet high, it features a wind chime for each of the 40 individuals who died on Flight 93 when the hijacked plane crashed in the field on that fateful day.
It’s often quite windy there at the 2,200-acre park and the sound of those wind chimes is breathtakingly beautiful.

Never forget or share what happened on that tragic day.

Remember Me…

A crew of Vietnam veterans still shows up every spring with buckets and brushes.

They kneel on the sidewalk in front of the black granite wall in Washington and scrub it clean by hand, panel by panel.

Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 641 started the tradition in 1996. Through 2026 that's 31 seasons of the same ritual. Scout troops, students and other volunteer groups now take their own scheduled mornings too.

Tag the Vietnam vet you'd hand a brush to.
