A recent EdChoice analysis of 48 school-choice programs across 26 states through 2022 estimates that school-choice programs generated cumulative net fiscal benefits for taxpayers worth between $19.4 billion and $45.6 billion. 👇

This translates to up to $7,800 a student. For every dollar spent on these programs, taxpayers have saved between $1.70 and $2.64—a significant return on investment. 🍑 💰

The Georgia Department of Audits & Accounts analysis highlights that the QEE Tax Credit Program specifically, resulted in $61.4 million in reduced costs at the state and local levels. That’s a LOT of money saved and a LOT of money back in your pocket!!

Georgia Student Scholarship Organization, Inc. (Georgia SSO) is one of the original and largest non-profit SSOs in the State of Georgia. Georgia SSO allows taxpayers to redirect a portion of their state taxes in exchange for a 100% state tax credit to help improve private school education.

Since 2008, Georgia SSO is proud to have partnered with over 130+ Georgia private schools and have provided more than $90 million dollars in tuition scholarships supporting preK-12th grade.

Georgia SSO’s objective is to provide the State of Georgia taxpayer’s and accredited private schools with a simple, easy way to contribute and process funding to their preferred educational institutions.

Georgia SSO is based in Atlanta, GA and is audited every year and governed by an independent Board of Directors.

The Georgia QEE Tax Credit Program allows individuals, married couples and businesses to claim dollar-for-dollar tax credits on their Georgia income tax for scholarship donations made through a qualified SSO, up to the following limits:

📌For individuals who are single, up to $2,500;
📌For married couples filing separately, up to $2,500;
📌For married couples filing jointly, up to $5,000;
📌For C Corporations, up to 75 percent of their Georgia income tax liability;
📌For members of limited liability corporations (LLCs), shareholders in Subchapter ‘S’ corporations, and partners in partnerships, up to $25,000.
