Georgia Student Scholarship Organization, Inc. (Georgia SSO) is one of the original and largest non-profit SSOs in the State of Georgia. Georgia SSO allows taxpayers to redirect a portion of their state taxes in exchange for a 100% state tax credit to help improve private school education.

Since 2008, Georgia SSO is proud to have partnered with over 130+ Georgia private schools and have provided more than $90 million dollars in tuition scholarships supporting preK-12th grade.

“How does the pledging process actually work?”

Let’s break it down 👇

1. You apply to pledge on the Georgia SSO website
2. The state approves your pledge amount
3. You fund your pledge once approved
4. You receive a dollar-for-dollar state tax credit

That means if you owe $1,000 in Georgia taxes, you can redirect that $1,000 to provide scholarships instead.
