Leadership Academy: Inroads to Success

Leadership Academy: Inroads to Success Middle School in life skills and ethics. The goals of this program are to:

1.

The Leadership Academy: Inroads to Success is a character education program which engages college student volunteers to mentor 70 students of Martin Luther King Jr. Increase positive pro-social behaviors in youth by cultivating leadership skills and core ethical values that will result in them being positive role models to their peers, school and community.
2. Reduce the rate of school dropouts, y

outh violence, bullying, and other social issues among youth in the community by empowering them with support from peers, university student role models, family, community, teachers and faculty.
3. Increase health and wellness among youth and the surrounding community through service-learning projects that promote proper nutrition and physical exercise.
