“DEALING WITH GRIEF IN THE FACE OF THE LOSS OF A RANGER COMRADE”
A WARRIOR2CITIZEN PROGRAM FOR THE 5TH RANGER TRAINING BATTALION
SEPTEMBER 26,27 & 28,29
On August 14, 2022, there was a tragic accident during training that took the lives of two Army Ranger candidates on Mt. Yonah in the north Georgia mountains. This loss is deeply felt by their entire battalion, and their leadership is taking steps to provide support following this traumatic event.
The Ranger motto is “Rangers lead the way” which is true in battle and with their care for their warriors. That is why they have requested Warrior2Citizen’s (W2C) professional help in addressing the consequences of experiencing such a tragedy.
W2C has a history of developing and delivering highly successful programs for soldiers and their families, as well as first-responders addressing healing, building resilience, PTS, and su***de.
Our experienced team of professional psychotherapists and chaplains will address the impact of this event on the soldiers directly affected by this tragedy in a custom designed program, “Dealing With Grief in The Face Of The Loss Of A Ranger Comrade”.
Designed by our licensed therapists, social workers, psychologists, and chaplains, it addresses the soldier’s challenges which often occur in such experiences including loss, grief, guilt, moral Injury, and Post Traumatic Stress (PTS).
But we can’t do it alone. Your financial support is needed to complete the funding for this program to assist the Rangers and their families through the healing process. Will you help make it possible for these soldiers and their families to participate in our program? Your donation will enable the Ranger cadre to be helped to process the experience of the trauma, guided by a professional team in a series of group sessions.

Our board members and other donors have already contributed $22,000 thousand for this program, however, we need your help to close the gap between what the military funding can provide and the final cost of this program. We still need to raise $12,000 for the four-day event AND an additional $15,000 for ongoing counseling. And time is short!
Your contribution will help our citizen soldiers in the 5TH Ranger Training Battalion restore balance and resiliency, so they remain the pillars of our defense and communities.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and which is also tax deductible.
W2C is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tax ID 27-3645634
Thank you,
