From scholarship recipient to accomplished young musician — we are proud to celebrate Georgie Gonzalez!

A 2022 CHASS Award recipient in the instrumental category, Georgie has been accepted into the prestigious Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec — currently ranked among the top music programs in North America.

Since receiving support through the CHASS scholarship, Georgie has continued to excel in his musical journey at Stetson University as a member of the endowed “Barron” String Quartet, performing twice at Carnegie Hall and appearing at the Orfeo International Music Festival in Vipiteno, Italy.

Georgie shared his gratitude with the Tampa Bay Business Coalition for the Arts and the generous sponsors whose support helped make these opportunities possible, thanking them for investing in his education and musical development.

Embracing Our Differences is now accepting submissions for its 2027 international exhibition in St. Petersburg and Sarasota, Florida. Creatives of all ages are invited to submit artwork and quotations that explore kindness, inclusion, and our shared humanity.

Selected works will be displayed as large-scale banners in public parks across both cities.
