See Heidi’s message below and start collecting jewelry and accessories to swap.

Michele cannot host this year so we had to make other plans. Michele did say she is part of the John’s Creek Secret Garden Tour on May 9th. I googled it and ticket info did come up. If anyone wants to buy a ticket to attend, the money goes to a good cause.

I will send out more info on May 6 regarding Shanta’s luncheon and swap on May 20th. RSVPs will be due as usual the week before the event.

FYI - I will be picking up lunch from Chicken Salad Chick and taking it to Shanta’s.

Upcoming CWC "Treasures to Trade" accessory swap
on Wed. May 20, 2026!!!

where you can score some great "new" finds - for free!

(our last swap was 4 years ago!!)

Do some jewelry de-cluttering of your drawers & closets now, and sport your "new" bracelets, necklaces and rings after our swap! Bring also scarves, shawls, belts, purses, hats, headbands, sunglasses, and unopened beauty items, too! Canadian magazines and Canadian books are a good swap item too!

Bring more than you plan to take back at the swap – this will ensure that there is a good selection and left over items will be donated to charity.

The end result should be to clean out some of your accessories and let go ! --- Bring what you don’t use or wear (nice condition, gently worn, please), and bring back some fun items that you will enjoy and use. (You can always re-swap them at a future swap if you find your don't love what you took!!…it has been done already!)

For those of you who are attending the meeting, but do not wish to participate in the accessory swap (too busy/nothing extra to bring etc.), no worries!! When those who have brought accessories finish choosing what treasures they will take home with them, you can peruse the 'goods' and see if there are some items you would like to take before we donate it all to the Drake Closet in Roswell !!

Think upcoming Christmas gifts, or birthday gifts for your friends and kids too if you see something special!
Fun for EVERYONE in the end!!!

and remember:
"Keep only those things that speak to your heart.
Then take the plunge and discard all the rest."
-- Marie Kondo

The Drake House provides short-term crisis housing, education and empowerment programs for homeless mothers and their children in north metro Atlanta designed to assist the family in working toward self-sufficiency. All sale proceeds from the Drake Closet consignment shops (Roswell, Alpharetta and Sandy Springs locations) go to support The Drake House programme.

Looking forward to May 20th, 2026 at Shanta’s!

Farewell to Danielle T. – Wishing Her All the Best!

Dear Club Members,

We wanted to share the bittersweet news that Danielle T. will be moving to Connecticut on April 1st. She and her husband, Pierro, are excited to be closer to their son Pierre and his family as they embark on this new chapter.

Danielle will truly be missed. As an active member of our club, she brought fantastic outing ideas to the table, contributed tirelessly to food preparations over the years, and brightened our meetings with her warm company. Her dedication and presence have been deeply valued by all of us.

If you’d like to send her a note or message, you can find her contact information in the directory. Let’s show Danielle our heartfelt appreciation and wish her good luck on this wonderful new adventure. We hope she'll come back to visit us in the future.
