Thank you to all my volunteers!! Saturday work day was a blast we even were blessed with another new volunteer who just happened to come to our garden that day!! Praise the Lord! We watered and planted zucchini and peas. Small pumpkins and tomatoes. Of course a row of pole beans too! We harvested green seeds for fall. On Monday we w**d whacked the other side berry garden and started hand w**ding the raspberries. Talked to our tractor man and he is going to move the mulch to this berry patch for us.. God is blessing us this year and we give him all the glory!!

Palm Sunday the garden was visited by some of our LUG people! 9-10 volunteers and 5 adults came out to the garden. We built raised beds with hopes of many more. Finished installed our grape beds too. The group worked hard w**ding 100’ of inground row beds and started to cover and mulch our southern cherries! Months of work in just one day!! Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! If you would like to learn about growing food and sustainable earth nurturing please message me or comment and I will connect with you.

So today, I tackled something with my wonderful volunteers that I have not been able to accomplish in three years due to my husband‘s health and my knee injury. I am happy to report that the perennial native pollinator garden has been trimmed. I have four huge piles of trimmings but Ooh La La this year is gonna be its best year. Come on out and see us if you’d like volunteer days or Mondays from 8 AM until whenever, as you are come with your kids Summer’s coming, Spring is here. The pictures are of the Beautyberry, Viburnum and Amelia that are wonderful specimens. Also in Oakleaf hydrangea tons of brown eyed susan, grey head cone flowers, obedient plant, and these wonderful little sprouts from the false indigo shrub that will be glorious.
